That's also how Trump flipped something like 350 counties that voted for Obama at least once. He flipped like 200 that voted for Obama twice. And yet, we have the MSM talking heads screaming racism 24/7.
Da fukk outta here.

The Runningart challenge was done without accounting for a new China trade deal. It is solely based on a Trump reelection result. I expect a new trade deal to be done AFTER election day. Trump will win reelection with or without a new deal. China will run out the election clock.
When Trump wins next year, China will move quickly back to the negotiating table. If Biden wins, he will end all tariffs on day one and China goes back to screwing us over as they have done for decades.
You are twisting this up... my bet is that he cannot win without a trade deal and that is in line with what you proposed previously. Ok, you are backing away now. That’s fine but just to be clear that was your recent proposal to another poster.
I'm sticking with the Runningart challenge.

What a p*ssy way out. If Trump loses, or when Trump loses, you will leave letsrun forever. First of all, bullsh!t to that. You will just change your user name. Second of all, you should bet to stay and take your lumps you idiot racist wanker. You really are a stupid f*ck, and now also a p*ssy.
Grow up kid. No need for the cursing.
What would you call yourself then? You have pledged to leave LR forever if Trump doesn't win. That's not a challenge. The challenge to you, you idiot racist wanker, would be to stay here and take your lumps when he loses. What you are doing is planning your exit strategy so you run away with your tail between your legs. You come up with the word for that. Where I'm from, that's a p*ssy.
Correct!

Of course you are, because when Trump loses you just get to not show your face here again. You should pledge to admit how wrong you were and stick around for a while and take your lumps after he loses, you idiot racist wanker.
If you do not work in manufacturing, which most people don't, then you don't get a salary increase out of this.
And if you work in administration, service or sales of a manufacturing company, there will be less in the budget to pay you. Or maybe the officers/owners will take the hit.
But consumers of those products certainly will pay more.
That's not all bad and it is certainly good for people who want careers in manufacturing.
But there are fewer Americans that even want those jobs as we have adjusted to having more service oriented jobs and buying cheap goods.
If unemployment were over 10%, this may be a good thing.
Unemployment under 4% makes it hard to pull off.
Same with the tax cuts. That would be useful if the economy was struggling but doing while the economy was steadily growing didn't make sense. It just increased the debt leaving us with fewer options and tools to handle the next economic turn down.
This isn't bad on a simplistic level...but trumpers always forget they are dealing with Donald J Trump, a f'in moran. He does not understand anything about economics. He is a doofus, an idiot and someone who lies like you and I breathe. Having any faith that spanky has a rational plan or that he will do the smart thing is utterly naive and lame.
Spanks doesnt' want trade with other countries, he doesn't want people from other countries, he doesn't want any news from other countries, he doesn't want to fight in other countries...he is a yahoo isolationist american from the sticks who
feels people from other countries are outsmarting the US so we need to crawl into our shell.
Which, obviously, is a path to misery, poverty and failure. But he doesn't care or know enough to make a difference in his thinking.

Rigged that is pretty cowardly. I'd be more impressed if you declared, that win or lose, you would be back to discuss the results.
I honestly think that you would have left this board under your "Rigged for Hillary" handle if Trump lost whether you had said something or not. Now at least, you can tell yourself that you are not leaving because you are cowardly, but because that was the deal you made.
There have been some posts about how you identify so strongly with Trump because you think that makes you a winner.
You stating that you won't come back if he loses, gives credence to that argument.

Didn't China increase their tariffs in response to this?
This is like a knife fight.
You're proud that you hurt the other guy but you are suffering stab wounds your self and no one wins.
China may be in the wrong in many cases but Trump seems to lack the skill to negotiate successfully in business.
We elected a guy who was brash but had a number of bankruptcies and lost a billion dollars. His most successful business venture seemed to be selling his name to be put on buildings that he doesn't own or operate.
Well, I promise to hang around here even if Trump loses, though I doubt that will happen. I enjoy the give-and-take with you characters though we don't agree on too much. We do agree that Trump is a pretty terrible person but don't agree that the alternative would be better. Not one of you guys has lauded Trump on donating his entire salary to charities or needy groups. He could solve cancer and not one of you would give him credit for that. You all have blinders on. Trump derangement syndrome. It is not good for you. Sure, you can call him names - like Tiny or the Orange one - but also have some humor with that. Just enjoy life!

Exactly. China has taken advantage but Trump doesn't have the political savvy to effectively address this issue. He is a conman with a fragile ego who is very easily manipulated by foreign governments. The way to have dealt with this would have been to get all of our allies on board with this and to conduct private negotiations. But our allies would never follow Trump because they think he is a clown. China's know the fragility of Trump's ego and that Trump will want some show of him winning. This makes him weak because China knows a deal means more to Trump then to them. They also know he is clown in way over his head.
Putin is chuckling right now.
trump giving the equivalent of $20 in normal person money is not that exciting to me. Why is it to you?
Trump's view is economically correct, for once. He gives up ($400,000 x 4), and in return gets hundreds of millions of dollars of extorted rent by forcing the secret service, VP and staff to stay at his properties. Plus the massive free publicity.
Only suckers don't see through trump's theft of your money.
You seem too smart to be fooled by this.
Sally, I think you know that Trump is a conman right? You know that he has done many questionable things to enrich himself and to promote his business and really has cost this country quite a bit.
So when he says he is giving something (salary) to government, do you really believe that. Or is that just a show so he can get away with other stuff. If you honestly belief that Trump doesn't have an ulterior motive to this apparent act of generosity that will serve his financial needs in the long run, I'll take you for your word. But I think the conman is phony in this display.

We pointed out that donating his salary was a tax gimmick so he would have no ordinary earnings and he would only be subject to corporate earnings which he had lowered form 35% to 21%. That's only if he made profit on the books which we don't know because he is hiding his taxes from the public.
Do you really doubt Trump will lose the election?
I understand that early polls are meaningless and he beat the odds last time.
But the odds are still against him again, you must see this.
I know you are rooting for him to win but that's different than expecting him to win.
In the AL I was hoping the Orioles would do well but didn't doubt they'd miss the playoffs.
sort of kudos to us -
I read today that Stan Greenberg, Dem pollster, had to stop putting trumpers and dems in the same room for study groups. They couldn't even talk to each other without screaming and worse.
Here, we type mean but we mostly hang together.
Good on us.
Also, Sally glad to say that you are coming back after the election. Maybe you can inspire Rigged with your bravery (if you are telling the truth).

The economy added 130,000 jobs in August.
That's good. I hope we keep adding jobs.
