Sally lies told in this post.
FACTS:
Trump IS NOT a billionaire.
Trump claims he is the KING OF DEBT; interpretation: he has little actual cash.
Trump is DESPERATE for money.
I would definitely put more stock into Forbes than in to you. You say he is a thousandaire but Forbes estimate his net worth to be $3.1 BILLION. So ... should I go with what you liberal and anonymous poster says or with one of the most reputable financial magazines ever? I will go all in with Forbes.
https://www.forbes.com/donald-trump/#1b280b922899You are really reaching. You are saying that he had to go 180 miles away to find a place where he could sleep?
Is Pence some kind of storybook princess?
"Oh dearest me, I just can't sleep unless it's on a Trump mattress. Another one might have a pea under it."

The question, of course, is whether he really is a billionaire. If people ever get their hands on his tax returns, most of pieces needed to put together a balance sheet will be available.
The things he does, like stiffing vendors, contractors and using his charity fund to buy a portrait of himself makes one wonder. He also had to prodded to pay the $1M to the vets he pledged for his debate night rally and the $25K he promised to a military widow. It might just be because he is an a*hole.

Yes. Because he's not really very rich and his Doonbeg property in Ireland needs the business badly. There have been lots of stories about how Doonbeg is losing money.
In 1985, Trump appeared by himself on the Forbes 400 list of America’s richest people for the first time, after inventing a fake persona to lie about a transfer of wealth from his father.

And besides the money there is also the much-needed publicity.
Tiny is using the office of president to enrich himself. That is against the law. (Not that Sally cares if he breaks the law)

Have you ever stayed at a Trump property? Obviously not. They are about the most luxurious accommodations in the world. Do you not want Pence to be fully rested to participate in high-level negotiations? Would you rather him stay at a Motel 6 where he is not able to sleep with the thin walls and whatever is happening in the room next door? He slept well and was functionally mentally at 100% in the high-level meetings.
You are really reaching. You are saying that he had to go 180 miles away to find a place where he could sleep?

Forbes based their "estimate" on Trump's fake financials.

Right. The Forbes list is based in large part on self-reported information.
And as LL keeps pointing out, Tiny lies about anything and everything.
The truth is, nobody outside the Trump Organization has seen the numbers. Forbes has no clue how much the guy is really worth.

Come on. You really think he is trying to enrich himself? Forbes says he is worth $3.1 billion. YOu guys keep coming up with ways he might make $50,000 or $20,000 on such and such. If you are worth $3.1 billion, $20K is pocket change. Let me ask you this ... You are worth billions - and you live in Augusta, Georgia. Are you going rent out your house during the tournament to make $5,000? I am no billionaire but even to me $5,000 is not much. Does a billionaire really care about $5,000?

You are saying Forbes invests everything in its Trump-report net worth simply on what Trump self-discloses? Are you serious? That is absurd.
What an idiotic things to say. Forbes, one of the most reputable financial magazines, bases its estimate on the Trump net worth on whatever Trump is self-reporting. That is just an idiotic statement. No financial magazine would do that. FURTHER Bloomberg estimates his net worth at $3.7 BILLION. They don't rely on whatever Trump is telling them. Just a really stupid thing to say.

The real reason Pence stayed at Doobeg does come from a storybook though.
As we learned in "The Godfather", the mob boss always gets his cut of the action. Pence was paying tribute to the Don. Barr is doing it too. If you work in the administration, it is understood that the first priority is to steer taxpayer money to the Trump family.

the question is not whether trump is a billionaire. he is a greedy f*&^ who cheats on taxes and steals charity money to pay small bills. He wants all his money and he wants your money too.
This kind of self dealing corruption is wrong on every level and that sally thinks it's ok shows he has no moral core.
Both use self-reporting. They don't have hard numbers, so they gather information from wherever they can.
We have already shown that Forbes uses self-reporting.
In the case of Bloomberg, they use a "confidence rating" for their estimate. The confidence rating for Tiny's estimate is only two out of five stars. Here is what Bloomberg says about their own rating:

exactly this.
if you want to have influence over trump you have to give him money.
that's the beginning, the middle, and the end of the story.

They have no information regarding the appraised value of his properties, his ownership interest or any personal loans. There is no way their estimate could be accurate.
Most people don't want to be on the Forbes list and consider bragging about their net worth to be crass. Trump might be only person ever to lie to Forbes to get on the list.

True. As it says in Romans 6:
In other words, stop spreading fake news and misleading quotes. Stop filling this thread with things you know to be false.
We all have a sin nature, that is not going away even if you're a born again Christian. The sin nature will go away once we meet Christ in the air and we are transformed with immortal bodies. Until that day comes, Flagole will tell lies as ALL humans do. As for Flagpole's Christianity, I do not think he has ever accepted the Lord as his Savior. If he has, then I stand corrected.
I was at one time what I would consider a Christian. Even then, I had very liberal ideas about Christianity, so some Christians would say I never was one. I disagree with that stance, and it is part of the reason I left the religion. In my own way of accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, I definitely was on board with that at one point. I still accept the person we now know as "Jesus" as a good teacher, worthy of study and respect. I do not believe he is literally the Son of God.
I am now what I consider to be an atheist. I do not KNOW that there isn't a God, but I do not BELIEVE there is, at least not in the way that Christianity and most major religions portray God. Some might say that makes me agnostic, but I disagree.
This though has nothing to do with whether I lie or not. I do not lie. You are using your perceived perfection of Jesus to show that no person can be in the realm in any way, and therefore, you are permitting lying.
Let's be clear about something...not lying doesn't make me perfect. I am not perfect (though I do try to be and am doing a damn good job at the attempt), but if called out on an imperfection, I will acknowledge it and not lie about it since I do not lie.
