I honestly thought Obama would have been more liberal than he was. I don't claim high ground on anything but I do find his policies favorable. Why would you slam me for that? You would vote for whoever's policies you find favorable. We all would. Some of Hillary's policies would have been Obama v2 but not the abortion ones.

Based on what you wrote, I would think you would support a movement to impeach and remove Trump.
Then you would have Mike Pence as president to appoint the same people to the Supreme Court and follow the other agendas you like.
In fact, you would get more free trade and no stupid tariffs.
Would you prefer Pence over Trump to be in office right now considering Trump's character flaws that you have expressed?
My reference to Hillary helped explain why I voted for Trump. Everything she espouses I pretty much oppose. What were my options? Hillary or Trump. Easy choice. A cad and a jerk and a lout whose policies I generally like versus a very wicked woman who was a very incompetent secretary of state who denied extra security for those under her watch, whose own assistant, Huma, said she was out of her league.

OK
Now help explain why you continue to defend Trump with Hillary out of the picture.
Sally, thanks for going to the time and trouble to specify your personal objections to President Trump. I know it took a while and I appreciate the effort involved.
Looking forward to your policy objections, when you get the chance. Thanks again.

Give me a break. As much as I hope that DJT is a one-termer, it's ~15 months to the election. The fat lady ain't sung yet.

You are suggesting I would support impeaching Trump simply on his character flaws? Have you seriously thought about what you just wrote? You want someone impeached not on actions but on personality and character? What kind of a precedent would that set? So if Hillary runs again in 2020 and wins and we find out she likes porn and sleeping with other women, she should be impeached? Or if she gets angry and throws ashtrays at staffers as she did as First Lady she should be impeached?
What does listing Flagpole’s characteristics have to do with Trump?

I will tackle his personal characteristics first. There are not many to not like.
1) Petulant
2) Immature
3) Not a gentleman to women. In fact he treats them like dirt. Like playthings.
4) The tweeting. So unpresidential.
5) His orange hair looks horrific. But that is not something he has any control over.
6) Bombastic. A blowhard.
7) Can never let insults go. Always has to respond. Back to his immaturity. Bush 41 was savaged while in office but always rose above the fray.
8) Not well-read. Not a student of history. Not curious enough about what and who preceded him.
9) Everything is about him. Never really respects others. He always has to be placed on a pedestal.
10) A lout. A cad. A big-time jerk.
Just a few.
What does listing Flagpole’s characteristics have to do with Trump?
Nicely done.

Today's policies or yesterday's policies?

Your post made me chuckle. But what is really sad is that Trump does not call women "whores" while Flagpole does so with regularity. Quite a contrast.

He's probably a clinical narcissist incapable of normal human empathy. Is it really crazy to not want the most powerful person in the world be someone entirely uninterested in the welfare of anyone outside of his own interest?
Anyway emoluments ought to be enough reason.

Trump far outweighs the fat lady. He can smother her dead by sitting on her.

Sally is an idiot racist wanker who loves Trump. Sally is a Trumper who isn't fooling anyone. No credibility. No class. Nowhere to hide his love for Trump.

Don't try to get into a logic discussion with Sally. Sally is a full-blown idiot.

It is indeed sad that Trump has a better track record in his treatment of women than Flagpole.
