Truman tried to buy it in 1946 and the US has a presence there. It's an important geopolitical location and China has been trying to get a foothold there for years so this idea to buy Greenland is surprisingly not totally ridiculous.
Yes, of course the US would love to own Greenland. What is ridiculous is that Tiny apparently thinks it is a possibility. Denmark would never sell.
If Tiny had a better relationship with European countries like Denmark then we might be able to forge a partnership to develop that land. In a few years, billions of people will need to move further north and Greenland will be a prime spot.
