538 has it at 42%. The lowest of any president at this point other than Carter. And it hasn't risen or fallen - that's my point. It just stays in the cellar - everyone has made up his or her mind already. Nothing new matters.
Of course, your source is factual, others are wrong. He has risen, where have you been. Challenge me and I'll post the link. Ever hear of 2017? Ever hear of 2018? His approval rating has gone up, but you're simply so biased that you'll find fault in the good.
Please look up polling error. The ignorance of some of you is astounding.
Let's say a poll with 3% error says Trump has an approval of 42%. Let's say they conduct the same poll a week later and that same poll with 3% error says Trump has an approval of 45%. Did his actual approval go up? Why or why not?
Let me help you...the 42% result could be an actual approval of 39-45%, while the 45% result could be an actual approval of 41-48%. Both polls actually share 5 percentage values. Trump then could actually have an approval of 42% as that number is within the polling error of both polls.
Bottom Line: Trump's approval has remained steady at 40-45% his entire presidency except for knee jerk opinions regarding government shutdowns, etc.
I have tried in vain to explain this to you people. He is convinced he can still win with 46% and run the same demographic numbers and same turnout. He. Can. Not. This is due to the aging population dying and increase in minority population.
The Republican Party is killing itself by not increasing minority support. W.Bush had 35% and 40% hispanic vote. Trump was under 30%. He is taking the party backwards. It's even worse with Asian voters....who are the fastest growing demographic in the US.
But, just continue to bury your heads in the sand and cling to 'white power'.
