What kind of high crime and misdemeanor did Trump commit? It was a sham investigation. Mueller himself said there was no collusion and no conspiracy. You liberals are nutcakes! Nothing happened. well ok, but that wasn't the only collusion.

Manafort gave internal polling info to Russians, which could have been used to target MI PA WI, where just 70k voters turned the election.

Trump openly asked for help from the Russian military, and they did exactly that.

Even trump agrees that Russia helped him get elected. Trump asked for that help, junior met with russians to get that help, manafort gave russians internal polling info...

it all happened.

perhaps the most vivid example of collusion that doesn't rise to the level of a crime:

we know russia acted in a concerted effort to get trump elected. They worked it from many angles.

Our intel people know this, and mueller verified it.

but all along, trump claimed it was all a hoax - betraying the nation.

That alone is impeachable.

1) The fact that you ever had the audacity to say you aren't a Trumper is insane. You are greatly affected.

2) The fact that you comment on Mueller's report at all when you haven't even read it is equally insane. Seriously...spend some time thinking about that.

3) Mueller's Report shows 11 (10 initially and then one more after more was revealed) instances of Obstruction of Justice. It absolutely was not a sham investigation. Apparently you don't care that his investigation nailed all those people, confirmed how extensive the meddling in our election by the Russians was, the criminals our President surrounded himself with, and then all of his instances of Obstruction of Justice. To call that a sham investigation is unpatriotic to the nth degree and flat wrong.

4) The examples of his Obstruction of Justice would be charged as felonies. Beyond the Mueller Report, he has also already directed two felonies (campaign finance law violations), he has all of those potential financial crimes being looked into, he has broken the Emoluments Clause.

5) Obstruction of justice carries with it a potential federal prison term of 10 years.

“While this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,” the special counsel stated.

“If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so,” Mr. Mueller said.

You should be ashamed of yourself. How can you look yourself in the mirror when you have such strong opinions about a report you did not read?

That is a mystery.

Here are the ongoing investigations that are the biggest issues for Trump:

1) Emoluments Lawsuit: Subpoenas have been issued.

2) The Trump Foundation: Judge has ruled this can proceed. Had to stop operating due to a "shocking pattern of illegality"

3) Campaign finance conspiracy: Cohen in prison for this. Trump is "Individual-1". He directed the felonies.

4) Inauguration spending: SDNY handling this one.

5) Inauguration funding: Prosecutors in Brooklyn looking into this.

6) Tax investigation: New York authorities looking into this.

7) Trump Organization finance probe: RICO charges likely.

8) Federal and State immigration violations: Investigations into the large number of illegal immigrants employed by Trump-owned businesses.

And again, that's not even all of them that we know of...those are just the ones that are potentially the biggest problems for him.

He's such a criminal. It is almost beyond comprehension that people on this thread actively and vociferously support and defend this man.

Not looking good for him in MN, WI, MI, PA so far, and he can't lose those. Even FL and OH are slightly against him today.

Other things greatly against him:

1) Older population dying off.

2) More younger people eligible to vote replacing those older people.

3) Won't be running against a cold Hillary this time.

4) Scandal has rocked his administration. Not just the Mueller probe but scandal almost everywhere you look.

5) He WILL be impeached. This will happen leading up to the election, and it is not good for him.

6) He is going to have a challenger in the primary. He won't lose to that challenger, but this is not good for him.

Finally, he is the most lying most criminal President we have had by far. Democrats are energized to get him out. He will not win.

All good points. I am never going to discount the chances of a presidential incumbent. But bottom line Trump's approval rating has never been high enough to get him re-elected. As I have pointed out many times here and elsewhere, they key number from 2016 was 46%. That's what Trump got. It was comical that so many conservatives focused on the electoral victory and somehow thought they were beloved, while ignoring the devastating reality of that 46%. In fact, every time I read the OP from this thread I have to laugh because it is obvious that he was among them. It would be one thing if the demographic realities were trending in favor of the GOP. But since Trump's most dependable base is older and dying out all the time, that 46% from 2016 would not match 46% today. Trump needs to expand his pull but mostly he is simply polarizing and restricting.

Tonight he is announcing plans to hike taxes 5% on imports from Mexico. Dow futures have plunged as a result. That's the only thing this guy knows when things go against him...additional taxes that are passed onto the American public. It is the definition of a spoiled whining simpleton. But he benefits because his conservative base is so remarkably stupid. They hear the word tariff and don't associate it with a tax. It can't be a tax hike, because Trump is a Republican. We've got to be able to attend our Sunday brunch and announce in loudmouth fashion that Democrats will raise our taxes and take away our guns. I don't even know what a tariff is. Must be something from California, pushed by those evil Democrats.

Trump's approval rating is down to 41.2% on the 538 compilation. Every time he has a quiet period and it bumps above 42%, he can't restrain himself and it drops down again. I haven't had a firm opinion on impeachment but now I think Democrats should go for it. There is nothing to save this guy because he is a liar at base instinct. If those proceedings were underway Trump would implode with one childish rant after another. There would be nothing resembling Bill Clinton. When Trump feels threatened he default to lies, or the hilarious aspect like today when he said if he is impeached he'll turn to the Supreme Court to bail him out. He says this roughly once per month. It does feel like Twilight Zone because we've got a moron who doesn't have any clue how the process works. His entire life he has used power, money, threats and lies and gotten away with it.

I don’t agree with #4 (what is scandalous is highly subjective), 5 and 6. I don’t think 1 and 2 are too problematic since many younger voters turn conservative as they age, and many get turned off by the millennials. #3 is the main point, except the democrats have no one to run agains him

This always brings great amusement to me. Go re-watch videos of the Charlottesville protests from 2017. It wasn't a bunch of grandparents marching around with tiki torches chanting "Jews will not replace us."

Some people want so desperately to believe that racism in America is on it's way out. "Just a few more years when all those racist people die off and the enlightened youth take over!"

1) Valid point to never discount an incumbent, especially when the economy is going so well right now.

2) The tariffs on Mexico talk is just crazy. He has already had to bail out farmers because of this tariff nonsense with China. Farmers remain farmers because they like to see the results of their hard work. As a group, they would rather work and sell their product for a fair price than to receive a government bail out. They still need to know what to plant for the next season.

3) Trump constantly demonstrates that he doesn't understand how government works (as you mentioned). This is no surprise as he has never been a government employee before and he is clearly not a scholarly person (that is a huge understatement).

4) I agree that official impeachment proceedings (what we are seeing now with the House is really unofficial impeachment proceedings) would not resemble what went on with Clinton at all.
