Impeachment is an odd duck. It is not the same as a conviction by an entity that is not the Senate.

Trump’s hiring and firing of illegal immigrants is a real interesting story.
His people knowingly hired illegal immigrants and told them to get fake documents.
Now that they are using E Verify, they had to be fired.
It will be expensive for them to now hire Americans.
Trump has expanded the allowance of H1-B visas to allow more temporary-immigrants in to do work for him at rates below what any American worker would accept.
An early Happy Memorial Day! Thankfully, trump’s popularity is just a memory now, if it ever existed in the first place.

Nixon was not convincted in an impeachment trial.
He wasn’t even impeached.
He resigned.
He was pardoned of any crimes he “might” have committed while president.

Yes. A president can pardon before a trial.
Pence probably will pardon trump. Can’t wait!

That’s actually the very reason Trump should resign.
So he can be pardoned by Pence.
By trying to be re-elected, he faces the risk of losing and facing criminal charges in 2021.
He’s not going to get pardoned by a Democrat president.
If you mix drinks the way you mix metaphors, that would explain a lot...

If he loses re-election (NOT a done deal, by the way), he can resign between Election Day and January; move Pence into the Oval Office; and be pardoned by Pence.
A very real possibility IF he should lose--which I see as no better than a 50/50 outcome.
Your delusion explains a lot....
Okay, I don't follow this thread religiously, but was there any discussion of DJT's accusing four people, by name, of TREASON? That's, you know, a capital crime--seems like a fairly important topic.
COTUS (Art. 3, Sec. 3) defines it: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."

Treason can be punished by death. Congress makes the determination of level of guilt.
18 USC § 2381 - TREASON
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
Trump’s delusion explains a lot, but in his mushy brain ?, any oversight is treason.
Perhaps trump could make a citizen’s arrest? He’s got Secret Service to detain any & all. Love it!
The president is a coward.

Wrong. I was referring to the military servicemen who were accused of war crimes in my previous statement.
Only the servicemen. Not the servicewomen? Only the white servicemen who are Trumpettes. Right, Rigged>
