Not really. The regular swing voters who went his way seemed to feel like Clinton wasn't catering to their needs. Maybe some variation of a vote "for principals" or 1000 other variations on some broader idea regarding representation.
If you believe some on the Right, they would say Trump woke up a big block of "sleeping" conservatives. In some States third parties on the far Right did really well too, relatively speaking.
Much more going on here than the Democratic Party bosses apparently seem willing to acknowledge at this point. I'd say the same about Republicans too. The Right is splintering in general elections.
Fortunately, they can't seem to get a majority together to govern.

Come on, surely you can do better.
Your snarky non-response proves what I already knew. You can't dispute it. If so inclined, research what I mentioned and learn something. Clearly partisan bias supersedes everything else for most of you, I see that. I understand that. But you should listen to me - because unlike Flagpole, LL, Fat Hurts, Eric a Blair, Trollminator, and others, my predictions have been accurate. Predicted Trump winning early on, predicted how certain issues would be resolved, and predicted that many of the extreme outcome liberals feared would not manifest. Unlike liberals rife with emotion, I believe in reason. This is why I don't routinely get it wrong and then continue quoting NYTimes and WashPost as if nothing happened. This is why I understand how the Democrat party is coming apart.

my point:
the poster is mocking flagpole and agip for predicting that HRC would win.
But Trump made the same mistake! He too thought HRC would win.
So that poster is, by the transitive property, mocking the fat man. I think maybe he doesn't want to do that.
Yeah, I was an A$$ for saying that. All of us Dems are the ones who want free stuff and free programs so that we can keep living in our parent's basement. My bad, I went overboard and am certainly uninformed and well, not very bright. Carry on as I fade away with my sinking party as you Reps won everything.

1) why would Trump be considering firing Mueller? what? did he write some memos or something already? just let him do his investigation and prove Trump and his peeps have done nothing wrong
2) does Trump have tapes of his meetings with Comey? If so, since he is innocent and 'completely vindicated' why not release them for all to hear? If he doesn't have the tapes why not just say so? why the suspense?
3) if he is innocent, why fire Comey in the first place? just creates more suspicion
none of this makes much sense for someone who has done nothing wrong... unless he is just really not that smart, which I guess, is a real possibility

Load.
As of today based on what we know publicly, Trump is likely not in danger of being impeached. Still some very bad news for him though. He needs a team of lawyers to add to his own personal lawyer to help defend him (because his personal lawyer is in over his head here), and so far no top law firms will take him as a client. Why? They believe he won't pay and that he won't listen to them. Nice. He is getting what he deserves there. In addition, Mueller has hired some criminal lawyers which many suggest means they have found some potentially criminal behavior. Eric Trump outed his father as saying stuff the elder, fatter Trump denied. They can't get all their lies straight.
Republicans have some good ideas. This is not a Republican thing. Donald Trump never has been a Republican, and Republicans would do well to divorce themselves of him as soon as possible. What a freak show...NOT brought on by the media...brought on by the ignoramus Donald Trump who can't take the simple advice given to him by many to stop his stupid tweeting.
You 1100 and Idiotpole voted for a crook, and you lost:):):):):):):):):):) Flagpole is so uninformed that I almost feel sorry for him. Russia interference my a&&. She was outvoted and lost key states that she thought she'd win, and Flagpole (stupid handle) guaranteed that Trump would lose to her. Wow, how embarrassing to act like a know-it-all, be proven wrong, and then make excuses.

I'm not sure why you hate this man so much. You probly didn't think all that much of him either way when he was a popular celebrity real estate mogul... but now the media tells you to hate him, so...

mueller will find crimes, even if not collusion or obstruction. that's how the repubs found HRC's email problems - they were looking into benghazi, not IT strategy. We know of many of Trump's crimes already...imagine what a smart dedicated investigator will find.
the tapes probs don't exist.
Trump told us why he fired comey - to relieve pressure from the fbi investigation into the trump campaign. What's so hard about that? And why is that not obstruction?
If somebody could explain the reason for defending Hillary despite her numerous pedophile connections, I'd like to know. Can anybody explain that?

Umm...Russia interfered with the election. All intelligence agencies have said so. So far they don't believe Russia was able to change any votes, but they for sure succeeded in putting out a misinformation campaign that swayed people like you. The jury is still out on whether Trump lost to Hillary or not. As of now I will say he won, but if there is proven collusion, then I will not say that any more. Cheaters don't get to keep their medals (see Olympics).
Getting past the election though (something hard for your Trumpers to do because it's really the only victory you have with him), are you pleased with him so far? He hasn't done any of the big things he said he would do, and he said those things would be easy (actually he said they would be "so easy"). He has shown himself to be a bumbling buffoon who won't listen to the advice people give him. He has several ongoing investigations about his staff and their ties to Russia. The former head of the FBI has called him a liar (which he is). The news, including Fox News (thank goodness for Chris Wallace and Shepard Smith) has been on this story like stink on a monkey...all because of the poor decisions and continuing bad behavior (unhinged and unfiltered) of Trump, keeping Republicans from being able to have any positive press. He alienates almost everyone in his path. Is this good leadership?
Let's move on to the latest news.
Maryland and DC are suing Trump for taking foreign payments at his Washington hotel.
He is using his presidential status to enrich himself and harm income for other local businesses.

Yes, because it pales in comparison to her other crimes like when she helped Hitler build the concentration camps. Did you know that the holocaust was Hillary's idea?

Yep. This is how he operates...he enriches himself to the detriment of pretty much everyone else.
Not a single piece of info that was exposed via Wikileaks was ever denied or questioned by the DNC. That's not "misinformation"... that's "INFORMATION."
A problem you Lib crybabies have is that you aren't able to assume any responsibility for your problems. It starts with your leaders too, as Hillary's delusional excuse-making pattern has been embarrassing to say the least. By assuming anything "swayed" voters, you're implying that they would have voted for- or even considered- Clinton.

Your sarcasm doesn't amuse me when it's the disgusting woman you voted for who has enabled and profited from the international trafficking of children as young as four. A woman who defended rapists as a lawyer and had her husband's victims attacked and silenced. You're a f*ck

1) It's not true for one.
2) No one cares about Hillary Clinton anymore. People who don't want Trump in office anymore aren't wishing Hillary could jump in there. We just can't stand to see this buffoon of a person continue to be our president. Any American would be better, maybe even Alex Jones, and I'm not kidding. Donald Trump is by far the worst president we've ever had, and Americans should be embarrassed that we elected him.
