That is definitely not me. I am staying out of this debate. I have been preparing dinner. I might ask Flagpole over for a dinner party but will ensure it ends early so he can get back on time. I only post as those three and Living las vidas locas. Not Debbie Downer.

I get what you are saying, but if she had a whole host of different mutual funds (as I do) invested in all kinds of different things and sectors, she still could have lost in the last week right on the same as just being in the Dow alone. Can't assume she was only in the Dow.
The probability she has a wide-range of investments that exactly match what the DOW does is very low. It is zero because she claimed knowing her loses was self-evident. She is entirely invested in something that is self-evident and exactly matches the decline in the DOW. That can only be the DOW.
Good Lord are you thick.
You don’t even know what my investment level is.

One other thing - about the only thing Flagpole and I agree on are investment philosophies. They are very similar.

Make it quick. Flagpole’s dinner parties are 30 minutes or less.

It might be even be quicker than that if he insults my wife with his 100% integrity 100% of the time. Or, if I ask him how he enjoyed his steak or how he likes my remodeled kitchen.

Good for you. Flagpole has demonstrated a great grasp of investing and finances. He’s clearly the wisest one in those areas on this board.

He’s also the shrewdest political analyst on the board as well as one of the best pianist in all the world.
(I’ll just purposely leave out that he is also the most handsome, kindest most loving person you will ever meet)

You really are stupid. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO SAID that is was obvious to figure out your total investments from the percentage drop of the DOW.
So, ignorant girl, explain how your non-DOW investments just happen to match the DOW drop. Poor investment strategies? Voodoo? Magic?

I think everyone here would do well to start each day with this daily affirmation that Flagpole does: (picture him looking into the bedroom mirror) - "I'm Good Enough, I'm Smart Enough, and Doggone It, People Like Me!"

Any one who follows the markets carefully knows that the market drops or gains are often closely correlated. Like today - the Dow was done 2.38%, the S & P 2.41% and the NASDAQ 3.41%. It is not perfectly correlated but it is really odd how closely aligned they are considering the Dow is only 30 big cap industrials and the NASDAQ highly tech stocks. Weird but they always seem to closely align with each other.

The Bible also mentions that the AntiChrist will be Assyrian and will implement the ultimate New World Order/One government rule, demand worship as a diety and persecute Israel.
It is foolish to apply the "World" from today's world to the world the bible knew. World was a small local circular area encompassed with in a few days of travel from a core. There were no Americans, no far northern Europe, no southern Africa, no Australia, and certainly not any Far East, China/Japan, and Southern Asia. It was a very small "World" in the biblical days.
If you are talking about pre-flood civilization up to the Tower of Babel, then I would agree with you. The migration and settling of the world began after the Tower of Babel and long before the New Testament era. There were nations already widely populated in the areas you mentioned except for North America. Africa, the Far East, all of Europe had cities, etc. After all, the Roman Empire conquered many lands and people, not just modern day Italy and the Middle East.
I start each day vowing to protect the Constitution against all enemies. Just like trump, only he’s a pathological liar.

Did you know that the phrase "Tower of Babel" does not appear anywhere in the Bible?

According to the Biblical record in the book of Genesis, Shem is the original forefather of the Asian people. Chinese history says the first migrations came into China’s eastern plains from the west, along the Silk Road, and the accepted dating of early settlements in the Yellow River valley is in harmony with the Biblical record.
The phrase "Noah's ark" doesn't appear either. Noah was commanded to build an ark. Just as in the plains of Shinar,- (see Genesis 11 for the account) construction of a tower had commenced and was never finished. Up until the Tower of Babbel event, the entire population of Earth was of one single language. I don't want to hijack this thread to Bible stories. This thread Is all about Trump, politics and perhaps, Flagpole. I only wanted to point out Fat hurts' commentary about certain biblical accounts.

And yet "anti-christ" is missing from all those references.
The only biblical references to "anti-christ" are found in I John and II John. Clearly in those passages, John is not talking about an end times figure. John says there are many "anti-christs".
Wrong, there are over 25 references to the AntiChrist in the Bible. John in Revelation 17: 10-11 talked about 7 kings, 5 of which were already "fallen" or dead. Plus, the one he was living under (most likely Nero) and the future one. There were past AntiChrist like figures in history, but the one that will rule during the Tribulation has not yet appeared. Are you denying the future 7 year Tribulation too?
You are making non biblical claims here.
Dude, you are saying that words are there when they are not. You posted a bunch of verses that did not contain the term "anti-christ". You are seeing things that are not there.
