It's very obvious Putin made Trump his cuck. Trump's stupid followers will eat shitburgers and ask for seconds.

ALL legal experts will tell you that the context matters.
For instance, if a mobster comes and says, "You have a lovely family. I hope nothing happens to them", that's considered a threat. It's not legal.
In the same way - those trumpers claiming trump has the power to end any investigation - that's hogwash. He can't stop an investigation involving himself - context matters.
I thought you guys loved Comey. He handed the election to Trump after all. He's your guy? Why all the hate? He called it like he saw it last time, and this time, too. You can't pick and choose!
No matter, though. Mueller is looking into everything, and this will not end well.(Unless you're a Democrat, that is.)
Oh hey yet another trump admin scandal. Any one of these is worse than anything the Obama WH did, but ones like this will get no press.
defenders of trump live in ethical wastelands.
yeah. trump being held accountable. Shure.
Impeachment is a political process.
The Republican controlled congress has a dilemma.
They can sit back and allow Trump to destroy their party and risk losing control in the 2018 elections.
At that point, a Democrat control House could start impeachment proceedings. We don't know what we don't know in regards to what Trump may have done towards obstruction.
If Pence gets dragged down, you could have a Democrat appointed president by the end of 2019.
Or they can impeach Trump before the 2018 elections.
Then Pence becomes president or Paul Ryan if Pence gets pulled in.
In that case, even if they lost control of Congress (just the House probably) they'd still have the presidency to prevent any major liberal legislation.
Or they can sweat out the whole four years of Trump mania.
I will admit that even a Democrat controlled House and slim minority in the Senate couldn't have a successful impeachment without a lot of help from Republicans.

When discussing this scenario, I love the fact that if the Democrats timed it right, they could literally install any qualified US citizen as president. The speaker of the house doesn't need to be a member of congress. I think this is my best shot.
Fat hurts for speaker and president!!!
I think Republicans believe the very worst for their party is to have Trump impeached. Nobody likes to lose, and that's a big lose. Something bigger than we all know now needs to happen for Trump to get impeached.

So if a mobster came to your door looking to collect on a bet you'd lost and said, "nice dog, it'd be a shame if something terrible happened to it", you'd see this as an innocent recommendation that you take your pet to the vet more frequently?
If the mobster was named Donald Trump, yes. If it were a mobster named Barak Obama, NO!!!!!. It would be an impeachable offense if it were any Democrat. At this point it would probably be an impeachable offense if it was a Republican that wasn't "Republican enough."

The mobster was Loretta Lynch.
dumb and dumber?
They see what the want to see. Hear what they want to hear.
I agree that what the public knows now is not enough for impeachment.
That's almost the beauty of it.
What if things keep piling up for the next 12 months?
It's only been a bit more than four months in office and look at all of the distractions and incompetence already building up.
This trajectory is a nightmare for Republicans.

It is, but unfortunately it is a nightmare for all Americans. Trump will not change. He will continue to do amazingly inappropriate things however long he is in office. I will take the damage to the Republican Party as a silver lining, but I'd rather Trump be gone and we have a reasonable Republican Party. Paul Ryan should be ashamed of himself...on audio saying during the campaign that he could not support and would not ever support Trump, and now here he is doing just that. Simply zero integrity. Seems only Jeb Bush and John Kasich and the unfortunately failing mind of John McCain have any integrity on the Republican side (well, there are a few others).

People keep saying that, but at what point does it become "enough"? What more would we need to see?
whoo weeeee this is good news.
The House has requested tapes from the WH and memos from Comey
I'm sure the tapes don't exist, so Trump will be proven a liar. Again. Because he is a liar, from morning to night. And twice on Sunday.
But if they do exist, I suppose Trump will just declare exec priv and sit on them. Not sure of the legality there.
But have to say, American institutions are being challenged...but pulling through. Even Repubs are pushing back sometimes agaisnt the prez.

I have no idea.
You'd think the audio of Trump talking about sexually assaulting women while he was on that bus would be enough to stop people from voting for him.
He could probably shoot someone on Fifth Avenue on video and not get impeached by this Congress or lose supporters.
(need to give Trump credit for part of that line)

Good points.
