There is no doubt in my mind there are many LRC posters who got straight As in school, but of course not all As are created equal. For my part, I had straight A+s in my final year of high school, A+ average with straight As in undergrad, A+ average with straight As in my masters, and straight A+s in my doctoral course work. If they were all at the same school, maybe it was a fluke, but it was at four different institutions, so I think at least one of them got it right.
This would be bragging if I were not anonymous, but since I am anonymous, it's simply starting a set of facts (or what I purport to be facts), which nobody is obliged to believe, with no bearing on the truth or lack thereof (and no skin off my back either way).
I'm fairly certain Avocado's Number was a straight A dude, along with several other regulars and many other random trolls. Not jamin, obviously... :-)
I was never close to being a state champion of anything anywhere, mind you...
