What happens when House Democrats soon tire of the Trump investigations (understanding it will go nowhere and the American public is already weary of it) and know that Trump - even if impeached - will never be removed from office and his popularity will soar like Bill Clinton's did after impeachment - what will everyone do? Will MSNBC have to cover real news again? Will CNN not be interviewing Eric Swalwell and instead have to have legit new stories on their program again? Will Adam Schiff have to do actual Congressional work? The next year is going to be a doozie.
I'm actually surprised you think House Democrats might soon tire of Trump investigations. They may "tire" of them, but I'm not sure that's what you really meant...you meant that they would tire and abandon those investigations. No freakin' way will they do that...they all took an oath to uphold the Constitution, and since our Orange President has done his best to trample on it and the law as detailed in the Mueller Report, they will keep at it as long as he is in office and perhaps after. Trump is not going to acquire a "poor little victim" label with continued investigations, so it helps them politically to do it also.
Trump's popularity will never soar. The Republicans were seen as extremely partisan going after what amounted to a BJ in the Oval Office for Clinton. As I have said several times, I thought he should have been removed for perjury and Obstruction, but the perception of the masses was that Clinton was targeted for an infidelity, and that is why his popularity soared. There aren't a lot of people on the fence about Trump.
MSNBC covering the scandals of our President is "real news". There is next to nothing that is more real news than that. Definitely "legit" news stories from CNN about our serial lying incompetent criminal President. All Congressional members (at least the Democrats) can walk and chew gum at the same time.
You keep saying that he's a lousy person but his policies are good for the country. You have refused to list these "policies".
I will even give you that you might enjoy all his policies despite your refusal to list them. How can you put your trust in a President...the face and governor of our country...who lies to you constantly? How can you trust someone whose staff refuses to obey his orders because following those orders might put them in legal jeopardy? That staff wasn't elected. You are abdicating power from Trump to un-elected officials. They do this because they are following the law while Trump is not. How is that ok with you?
I don't need an answer. You should sit and ponder a bit.
