Uh, yes actually. We're all going to have a gigantic, juicy nothingburger courtesy of Mr James Comey.
And, of course, you'll continue your constant, delusional posting on LRC.

Over half of Democrat voters think Russia hacked the voting machines and changed the results to make Trump win, and there's been no evidence presented to support this, so yes, the Dem base is being consumed by a Red Scare. That's the correct way to look at the hysteria in the Democrat party right now.
The question at hand is the extent to which Russia interfered with our elections and the degree to which Trump colluded with them. I don't know how credible that poll you referenced is but, in any case, what base DemocratIC voters think about this question is a red herring. (We could go tit for tat on the "what falsehood does your base believe" front, and let me tell you, Republicans have far more tits than Democrats have tats. Or something.)
Again, we have damning evidence that Russia sought to manipulate the actual vote tallies. We don't know whether they were successful or not, but Trump has nothing to say about this assault on our democracy except to heap praise on the journalist-murdering dictator who perpetrated it. We also know that Russia hacked the DNC and leaked the materials in order to help the Trump campaign, and that an undeniably significant number of people within and closely related to the Trump administration have connections/interactions (financial or otherwise) with Russian oligarchs/officials and that several of them have lied about the nature of these under oath and/or are under investigation.
We also know that Trump's children have openly discussed the large amount of Russian funds being funneled into Daddy's businesses and that Trump has gone to great lengths (including outright lying) to hide any information that might shed some light on his financial relationships. In response to the investigation of our former national security advisor (who Trump KNEW was compromised and potentially subject to blackmail but kept on staff anyway), Trump asked the FBI director to drop it after priorly telling him: "I need loyalty. I expect loyalty." Comey says Trump spoke with him one-on-one nine times in four months, while Obama talked to him alone twice in three years, once to say goodbye.
To say that there is NOTHING to see here and we should all just move on from this "hysteria" is very curious from someone who spent the last eight years lamenting any appearance of tyranny and demanding that we follow the rule of law.

Yaaaawn. Anything incriminating yet?
Oh- speaking of- has Comey explained why he didn't promptly report the supposed obstruction of justice like he is required to by law?

Comey never said there was obstruction of justice. What he is essentially saying is that Trump was engaging him in an unethical manner (i.e. you help me and you keep your job) and lying. Even if there was no clear obstruction, the public should know what kind of shady character Trump is. If that upsets you then you should be upset at your orange god for being a fvck up.

If the public doesn't already know that Trump is shady, then they just dont want to know. It will remain that way, they will keep their blinders on
Bahahahahaha! No collusion, no Russian interference in the election, Trump Not under investigation. What else do you have?

That is clearly obstruction of justice. Do as I say and publicly clear me or I will fire you.

Gotcha.
Comey has already contradicted himself.
This is going to backfire Big League

How about a numbskull president degrading his country and party on a daily basis. Not to mention going into the midterms.

We know it is, but the memo is not enough proof. It would be great if Trump was foolish enough to release the tapes he claims to have.
Of course hysterical liberals will cite the "loyalty" factor and "disturbing" and intimidating nature of the Comey/Trump interactions as somehow reason for 'continued investigation.' All Comey's said is that he doesn't trust Trump. But none of this will go anywhere. A nothingburger. But that's fine with the obstructionist Dems because they don't want actual answers, what they want (need) is for this investigation to fester as long as possible to erode trust in the administration. They'd rather see Trump fail than America succeed.

It's a total bomb. Basically just trying to save his own reputation.

Gee...that sounds familiar.

Your underlying assumption is that Comey's story is 100% true, AND Trump has something to hide. If either of those is actually not true, then you have to adjust your conclusion. You realize that, right?
