That's not a crime.
but if trump had corrupt motives, such as knowing he was guilty and still firing comey, then that would be a crime.
That's why Barr brought up Trump's emotions. Trying to determine motive for all he did.
I think the report will show questionable or unethical behavior but zero illegal activity, hence the conclusions.
Ultimately it’s not moving the needle. It’s not like Trump’s approval is going to jump 10pts.
Also Flagpole is wrong. Trump will never go to jail much less be indicted on anything after he’s out of office .

Do you think he'll have to pay large tax penalties? I dont' see how he gets out of that one. The NYT has found him to be guilty as sin for decades on taxes, and his sister had to retire as a judge to avoid professional punishment for her role in the tax crimes. That's pretty much an admission of guilt.
