Agree. Ask yourself if the average Midwest or Southern person would even consider voting for the hillary clones, the Irish guy who thinks he’s Mexican or the communists...
Not a chance!!!!
Democrats are totally out of touch with patriotic Americans.
And the Rs are concerned that the Ds favor too much government intrusion into private enterprise.
trump's very naughty tweetfest:
The Federal Communications Commission or Federal Election Commission should investigate whether "Saturday Night Live" and late-night talk shows are in collusion with Democrats and/or Russia because they attack him so consistently.
Attacked late Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, for allegedly sending the FBI the Steele dossier before the election -- and working with Democrats to do so. (Also, Trump called McCain -- who, it's worth noting, is dead -- "last in his class" at the US Naval Academy.)
Urged Fox News Channel to reinstate host Jeanine Pirro after she was suspended for questioning the patriotism of Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, who is Muslim.
Urged FNC to stand up for host Tucker Carlson, who has seen some advertisers pull out of his show following the release of a series of caustic and offensive remarks he made on a radio show between 2006 and 2011.
Accused General Motors of having "let our country down" in the wake of the news that the company was relocating four American factories.
Attacked FNC anchor Shep Smith and two other weekend anchors at Fox, alleging they had "been trained by CNN prior to their ratings collapse."
Alleged that Democrats tried to "steal a presidential election," calling it "the biggest scandal in the history of our country."
I think you are both right.
Individual-1 is prone to fits of rage. This has been widely reported. Every time he goes off on a tirade it gets leaked to the press who reports that "Trump is panicked" about this or that. And it does make the MSM look foolish because it's a stupid thing to report, especially when it happens so often.
On the other hand, Flagpole may also be correct that his mental state is getting worse as he feels more and more boxed into a corner. Flagpole did cite some evidence for that conclusion.
But we don't really know for sure about what goes through the president's twisted mind. No matter what, it is scary to think about how the leader of the free world seems to be so mentally unstable.
I want to reiterate that people are changing their tax withholdings to make their paychecks smaller.
This will make a pinch on the economy.
And the policies of not being in favor of a global free market has ramifications that bounce in different places.
There will be a watch on the economy over the next 18 months.
And I can see Trump making all of the wrong decisions trying to goose it.
Maybe a new tariff that he thinks will help Florida oranges or something.
I'm not saying the sky is falling or to hoard gold, but we won't keep growing at a steady rate forever.
1991 things looked good for Bush I.
1992 was bad.
1999 leading into 2000 was a budget surplus
2007 was just over a peak for housing boom.
2008 the bottom dropped out
2011 leading into 2012 was a steady drumbeat of growing jobs and lowering unemployment that has lead us through 2016 up to today.
Trump's national emergency to build more wall without funding from Congress means that money will have to be taken from somewhere else.
I don't think he realizes that running a country is not like running a business.
A business can cut costs to maintain profits when revenue is down.
If you cut costs for a country, you're cutting income for some Americans.
He inherited a pretty strong economy and tried to put it in hyper drive with tax cuts in good times.
Let's see what happens when it needs more juice.

Are you really serious? I didn't respond to you calling me a liar. Because I don't lie. But your credibility just got shredded after you called the dossier 99% true. No credibility left at all. Nothing!

Large parts have been proven true. Im not sure how one could attribute a % to it though.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/16/politics/steele-information-dossier/index.htmlI think people forget that House districts are very small in the grand scheme of things. A better question is why are there no Muslim Republicans? Are there?
Since we have religious freedom in this country, this is NOT a Christian nation regardless of what some would have you believe, she is free to believe and practice whatever she wants and however she wants PROVIDED it is legally practiced. There are certain aspects of most religions, or to be more accurate certain literal interpretations, that would be illegal. This goes for Christianity as well.
Anyway, Omar represents a district which is predominantly Muslim. Is there something wrong with that?
PS: Beto’s campaign raised like $6.1 million in its first 24 hours. More than any candidate so far.

As the going gets tough, Big Baby may have to rely on good health, common sense, and friends. Except he doesn’t have any of those things. He could be in trouble!

on the dossier: Just a reminder that it is raw intel. It is simply dictation of what sources told Steele. that's it. Steele makes no affirmation that anything in it is true or false. Typically the next step would be to verify or discount the allegations. That step was not done.
that said, much in the dossier has been proven true. Nothing has been proven false, to my knowledge. But it has to be understood as raw intel - not a statement of fact. And it is no way discredited and it in no way started the Russian probe - those are more trump lies.
This is the best long read on it, from lawfare. Excerpt:
As we noted, our interest is in assessing the Steele dossier as a raw intelligence document, not a finished piece of analysis. The Mueller investigation has clearly produced public records that confirm pieces of the dossier. And even where the details are not exact, the general thrust of Steele’s reporting seems credible in light of what we now know about extensive contacts between numerous individuals associated with the Trump campaign and Russian government officials.
However, there is also a good deal in the dossier that has not been corroborated in the official record and perhaps never will be—whether because it’s untrue, unimportant or too sensitive. As a raw intelligence document, the Steele dossier, we believe, holds up well so far. But surely there is more to come from Mueller’s team. We will return to it as the public record develops.

Is two years a magical milestone for panicking? In your view, what is the appropriate amount of time someone can panic? His behavior is that of a desperate man...a panicked man. How long it has gone on is of no consequence.

trump lies about everything, casually and all the time. You can't take anything Trump says seriously, because he...just...lies.
Point here is that Trump can *say* that he wants the mueller report released but that means as much as any of Trump's pronouncements...zero. Zilch.
So yeah you can stop citing trump 's statements as meaning anything.
And you would agree also that every politician lies? Hillary, Barack, John McCain, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer. They all lie, yes?
Of course, but you are setting up a false equivalency. Trump is in a world of his own with lying. It is as if you said in reference to Ted Bundy, "We have all done things we aren't proud of, right?"
You have several lucid moments and then back to crazy time. Stop defending a bad bad man.
R here.... and yeah, I picture Trumpile a lot like a basement-dwelling troll, that's the way he acts. Ranting about "stuff" without thinking of the ramifications or consequences, he's totally unfit for the Oval Office. We need to drain the swamp for sure.
