If someone were to ask me if the left or the right would get a better turnout in 2020 compared to 2016, I'd have to go with the left. Should be a close race.

"Facts and logic"- that's rich. The guy that has been straight up Flagpoling for over 3 years now says "facts and logic".
Here are some facts:
Nearly everyone, from both sides of the aisle, including the convicted felon (for actions mostly not related to POTUS45) that was for some reason (theatrics) on the stand yesterday, has stated they haven't seen a shred of evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia. 1) Elected politicians across the spectrum, 2) insiders that were fired or left, 3) authors that wrote hate books on Trump, 4) FBI officials themselves (even the ones that were setting up the "insurance policy" to "stop him"), 5) DOJ officials that discussed wearing a wire..... 6+) EVERYONE is acknowledging there was no collusion, no conspiracy. And now most ARE aware of the flip side of the story that implicates several leaders of the FBI & DOJ that let HRC's crimes pass, spied on candidate Trump, tried to derail Trump's campaign, and then reverse his presidency after his epic election upset.
The obstruction case is laughable, as he has a written memo Rosenstein for Comey's firing, internal FBI committee recommendations to fire McCabe, etc. Remember folks, the entire investigation has now been exposed as a total fraud in and of itself. Good luck selling obstruction of a fake investigation.
No one outside of the butthurt Lib bubble cares about the potential Moscow tower discussions. Don Jr has always maintained that the discussions went well into 2016. You're forgetting that was one of the fake news stories from a couple months ago. Remember, the "Cohen changes his Moscow discussion timing" story turned into yet another massive flop, as Don Jr and the non-TDS outlets responded with "yeah, that's what Don Jr told Mueller, we know."
Flagboy- You notice your "Trump crimes" lists keep getting shorter, and less damning over time, right? Perhaps it's because your stories are not based on "facts and logic" at all, but rather, "hope and speculation".
Mueller NOPE.
Clownpole DOPE.

I do find this disheartening. Even people I respected in the past seemed like they were rooting for these North Korean talks to go nowhere. They are consumed with hate for Trump. They ooze Trump hate and can't even get on board with supporting the president as he attempts to make headway with North Korea. They despise him so much that they put their hate of him above what is best for the country. Just very sad.
What do you mean Trump had nothing to lose???? Of course he did. He lost a lot of credibility, many expected him to get something done and he failed. The POTUS usually starts from a position of advantage by default, so his mere presence is a bargaining chip. Kim on the other hand has been begging for some attention and recognition since he took power. Trump gave that to him for free, that is poor negotiation. In return, Kim wrote him love letters to stroke his ego and as we all know Trump “fell in love with him”. He got duped into going back for another meeting that Kim knew would lead to nothing. Kim wins because again he brought the world’s most powerful person to the table. Is any of that registering to you?

Why would you say that? Kim wanted all sanctions removed without totally dismantling his nuclear program. That was a no-brainer situation. Trump chose the correct path. What would you have done?
Do you think it made sense for him to even agree to meet with Kim in person without having some advance assurance he would be willing to make concessions? I wouldn’t have gone until I was convinced we could deal.
But we all know trump cares about the photo op and distraction, if not as much as he does about real change. Kim has not budged and his position has strengthened. Trump’s has weakened, that is common sense negotiations 101.
Jesus you think small. Kim's position has not strengthened at all. He's still the leader of a tiny, isolated country that the US could wipe off the map in a few days if need be.
Kim will be back to talk sometime in 2019. (Remember the first summit Trump called off at the last minute and then Kim backed down.) Kim can be a hero to his country and the entire region if he gets a deal done. They need a real economy, which is what the US if offering.
Here's why talks stopped (see below). Kim wanted sanctions lifted in their entirety, because they obviously are crippling to his country. He's hurting, NK is hurting. He asked for something, and didn't get it from Trump. The US will realize zero negative impact. NK continues to have heavy sanctions applied.
Yet, you somehow turn it into a "win" for Kim. Simply brilliant.
"“It was all about the sanctions,” Trump said at a news conference after the talks were cut short. “Basically, they wanted the sanctions lifted in their entirety, and we couldn’t do that.”
The United Nations and the United States ratcheted up sanctions on North Korea when the reclusive state undertook a series of nuclear and ballistic missile tests in 2017, cutting off its main sources hard cash.
Trump and Kim cut short their talks, skipping a planned working lunch at the French-colonial-era Metropole hotel after a morning of meetings."

Fat Hurts, wasn't it you that kept saying this?
Yes, and now we have the same fear from someone who knows the president well.
And it remains a ridiculous fear.

We'll see so many R politicians follow Trump down into the hall of shame of American history - will be ugly and sad but ultimately regenerative.
The actions of so many GOP members has been so inexcusable and so strong that one can't help but think that at least some of them have been bought by Russia along with Trump.

Seems like Cohen was a very weak person. He noted all these terrible Trump things he did, but he still stood by him for so long. Interesting.
Yes, Cohen is a very weak person.
No, that is not relevant in any way.

"Still wondering" obviously is a Rachel Maddow fan. Hahaha
Search for some Maddow-Russia videos on YouTube. They're absolutely hilarious. She's - they are - obsessed with a ridiculous narrative.

It's just a case of a guy getting caught, and really wishing he hadn't. So now he's going to try to be a hero to the side he was on WHILE DOING THE CRIMES (he stated he was a life-long "Democrat").
It's also funny how he blamed the state of everything from his own situation, to the divided country, on a single man, Mr Donald J Trump. Think about that for a second. The Left is admitting that one man is so omnipotent that he controls every aspect of our lives. Our actions. Our thoughts. Our opinions.
It's f'n ludicrous. They are f'n ludicrous.
Oh, and of course.....
Mueller NEVER.
Clownpole FOREVER.

There was never a chance NK was going to agree to a denuclearization so I don't blame Trump for that. What I do object to is his conceit that he could meet with Kim and hammer out a historic deal. He has no grasp of history or details and his approach was limited only to trading trading sanction relief for denuclearization. It's also riculous that he thinks he prevented a nuclear war and deserves the Nobel Prize.

Actually I've rarely seen Flagpole post the combination "Mueller is coming" and "Trump is done."
The clown on the other hand, well, let me tell you about the clown being done.
CORRECT! Although, I probably have said that somewhere, but it would be rare, as you said.
Most people are not very observant, and I mean the VAST MAJORITY are not. You though sir, are one of the rare observant few.
Even though someone will say we are the same person or we should get a room or some other sophomoric thing like that, I will still compliment people whenever I can, because that's how I roll.
You just made my point. He cares first about staying in power and second about his power abroad. To his people he’s a strong leader who got the POTUS to negotiate and they will use internal propaganda to make it look like Kim owned him. They don’t need a real economy dude, kim has been surviving like this forever and China will assist them for as long as needed. This is all about Kim keeping his people in check and his power fully consolidated. Trump has helped him achieve that goal. You are clueless if you think Kim or generals give a flying fvck about their people. They just need to keep them in check. You said it yourself, there was no chance he was going to give up the nuclear weapons program so back to a basic question - WTf is trump doing speaking to this guy and painting a rosy picture of him, especially after he gave trump the finger after first summit? I give him credit for trying but he is no good at this and if anything is squandering the opportunity.
I do agree with his tactic of putting pressure on China to stop helping them, but he gave up on that very quickly and doesn’t even mention it anymore. That was the effective way to approach this.
I would love to see an official end to the war, but not without a structure for improved relations to support that. Same with Syria, never wanted us to get involved but is pulling out abruptly when russia is expanding their influence the right way to do it? We give up so much power and influence when do things hastily. I have zero faith Trump can pull off something tangible. That’s how he has operated his whole life. He takes a picture, smiles and tweets that he won so he can take credit, but rarely is there any meat behind his “wins”. Sorry, he is a terrible deal maker. Hopefully he won’t disappoint with china.

And, if Trump declared a national emergency when he loses in 2020, and installs himself as Deer Leader for life, you will cheer his decision.
How do we wipe out NK? They do have nukes and could inflict incredible damage to South Korea and Japan. If we did a preemptive nuclear strike we would be right up there with Nazi Germany.

Presidential elections are not won by popular votes. They are won by electoral votes. The Repubs did indeed get body-slammed in the mid-terms but held their own in the Senate.
In 2018 here were 35 Senate seats up for election.
Democrats won 24 of them.
Republicans won 11.
They pushed Jeff Flake out and went on to lose Arizona, a usually reliable red state.
Winning Florida by running the incumbent governor was a nice snag.
But getting back N Dakota, Missouri and Indiana wasn't a major deal.
Democrats retained PA, OH, MI and WI senate seats which were key to Trump's 2016 win.
In 2018 Republicans did NOT win a SINGLE senate seat in a state where Hillary won.
But Democrats won seats in 7 states that Trump won.
NV, AZ, WV, PA, OH, MI, WI
And of course Dems took back the House big time.
It looks like an even harder path for Trump or any Republican to win the electoral vote next time around the way momentum is moving.
Ok...we shall see if you hold true there. I haven't officially completely ignored you yet, so I may respond to you to tell you when you are wrong. We will see if you can resist commenting.
Trump won’t run, GOP won’t win, it’s more interesting to wonder if they’ll even survive?
