CNN and Don Lemon did a great job reading it in its entirety. Donald Trump is a life long liar and cheat so nothing was particularly surprising. Cohen is going to open up by calling Trump a racist, con man and cheat. Then it gets worse. Cohen will say that Roger Stone called Trump to describe a conversation with Julian Assange, and that Trump implicitly directed Cohen to lie about Trump Tower Moscow. Trump knew that Stone was talking with Assange about a WikiLeaks drop of Democratic National Committee emails.
And so forth. Basically Trump tried to manipulate everything, per his life norm, and once he realized the scrutiny was higher this time he had to resort to lies, changed lies, and desperate claims of fake news, etc.
It would be fascinating to come back in 100 years and see how Trump and his family are viewed by history -- as among the worst Americans of all time. There is no way to avoid that destination. But right now you've got the caliber of the Republican Party and its devotees in play, and that means denial and attacking Cohen and inane comparisons from Ben Shapiro types, etc. This party commits systematic vote fraud in North Carolina and Mitch McConnell has the audacity to blame it on Democrats failing to support Voter ID laws.
I wish I were as confident as Flagpole that this would properly attach and doom this atrocity of a human being. But the right wing is now the exemplified by the likes of Gaetz and Jacob Wohl. Witness intimidation and bragging about spreading false information to influence an election, amidst a rationalization that somehow nothing is improper and harm cannot come your way.
BTW, hilarious melt down by Wohl tonight, after getting his twitter account banned. He was been begging Trump to intervene to have his twitter privileges restored. That is the level we're talking about. Cry to mommy caliber. He is on tilt ranting against Hill Reporter for a story posted about him tonight, threatening lawsuits and retribution. It led to this awesome twitter reply from the Editor in Chief at Hill Reporter:

I understand not being as confident as I am on how this will play out. The Republican Party as it is TODAY has no integrity, no backbone, and it is led by a serial liar and criminal, and Trump hasn't paid the price yet. He WILL...legally and politically, and ultimately financially. The sh!t is going to hit the fan, and they WILL turn on him.
Jacob Wohl got kicked off Twitter as you said, and he is likely going to prison. Matt Gaetz is one of the worst Trump supporters...he is not indicative of most elected officials who still publicly support Trump. Gaetz is going to be in hot water over that idiotic tweet of his.
Nothing good continues to happen for people who support this caustic President.
Cohen said Trump made him write to every school he has attended and College Board and threatened them not to release his grades or SAT scores. Ha! Now why would that be? "I'm like a smart person." "I have the best words." He fabricates everything. If he actually said he didn't do that well in college I would think that he did do well. Clearly you don't threaten people not to release your grades and SAT scores if they were something to be proud of. Trumpers should remember that Trump chastised Obama for not releasing his grades.
Anyway, tomorrow will be interesting. I don't expect to be surprised by anything. I suspect Trumpers will say that nothing Cohen says has proven collusion or really anything. They will bring up that he's a confessed liar. It will be good for America to see it though. Michael Cohen is worlds smarter than Trump, and he's contrite and not an a$$hole. He will come off as much more believable than Trump...and he apparently has some hard evidence to show too.
The ultimate end game is that Trump needs to be removed from office and as soon as possible. BUT, Democrats have to look at the 2020 election as if Trump is still a candidate...this testimony from Cohen tomorrow likely hurts that candidacy.
