He said he has a company. Seriously, does anyone believe that? He is up at the crack of dawn making stupid posts here and continuing throughout the day. His whole life is LetsRun. I am betting that his wife has a pretty decent job and Flagpole just stays at home in his PJs posting on this site. You can make a post being critical of him at any time of the day and his rebuttal occurs in a matter of seconds. Just pretty pathetic.
No. No. No.
Haven't you been paying attention? Flag pole is so supremely successful that he hardly HAS to work.
Funny that you people accuse me of being insecure when you seem to hang on my every word.
For those who came late to this party...
I do own a company. It has a name and is licensed. I have spelled out the work I do before, so I won't do so again.
Some of you have decided that I make $20 an hour or I wear a name tag or have to be on call all the time or I must do landscaping or some other menial job. Fine. If any of that makes you feel good, then who am I to deny you your feels?
I have never said I hardly ever have to work. I have stated accurately that I work 30 hours a week...that's max, but probably close to the average. I also take 7 weeks off completely each year, and I am planning to retire completely from work in about 3 more years. The main reason I have picked 3 more years is that I have a project I'm working on that should be done in 3 more years (look up what a manufacturing project is to understand that more fully; this isn't what most people think of as a project). I am in my early 50s, so it's not too hard to plan to be retired by mid 50s if you invest as you should, especially when both my wife and I have professional jobs. Many people retire well before now. Not that hard to do if you really want to. I could retire now, but I have decided to work a bit longer because I am still a bit young to retire, and we plan to retire to an expensive area, so I'm just being prudent.
Part of the reason I can respond so quickly is that my work is all computer-related, and I often am testing processes, most of which I have written scripts for, so I can run a process, go do whatever, and come back and read the log. Also, usually once or twice a week I am up late (or early depending on how you view things) because I have meetings with my clients who are on the other side of the planet (about half my clients are not in North America).
