With no impending shutdown and no major legislation upcoming he has to have the press chase something other than the Mueller probe.
We will be talking more and more about the smaller tax refunds as we approach April 15.
That won't play well for Trump or the Republicans even if the majority got a lower lax liability but were fronted more in their paychecks.
They wrote a new code to raise taxes on millions of Americans while giving big breaks to billionaires.
There is still tariff talk that will raise costs on companies and consumers.
We still have the following Trump associates yet to be sentenced or tried:
Manafort for a whole slew of shadiness.
Flynn for lying to the Feds. He cooperated but his sentence was delayed because his lawyer acted pompous right before sentencing
Cohen - found guilty of doing illegal activities on behalf of Trump. Delayed Congressional testimony over threats by Trump against his family
Roger Stone still has to be tried for lying and connection to WikiLeaks
They are requesting Trump's taxes which he is refusing to cooperate with. That is not a good sign of transparency. Everyone under Trump has to have their financials vetted.
Trump refused to answer questions asked by Mueller in an oral dialogue.
These things will be resolved in the upcoming months.
But time keeps passing and we are into year three.
