You are free to make stuff up, and lord knows you do that every day here, but you should know that you are a fantasist.
Or a troll.
Just a lie that no national elected democrat favors open borders. There IS a border crisis. Even Schumer and Pelosi have voted for border wall funding in the past. We had 300,000 illegals enter last year. THAT IS AN EFFING CRISIS@ A re you and idiot? Is there ANY OTHER COUNTRY THAT WOULD ALLOW 300,000 ILLEGALS TO ENTER THEIR COUNTRY ILLEGALLY?""A re you really that much of an idiot??? 300,000 illegals entering a country is not a crisis???? I am done with you!
Name the nationally elected Democrat that favors open borders. And provide the quote where that person does so. We'll wait, but we all know that you won't come up with anything.
Re: border crisis, let's see. The mayor of McCallen, TX, the mayor of El Paso, TX and the (Republican) congressman representing a good part of the border in TX all say that there is no crisis, and we don't need a wall. But the guy in the White House, who until two years ago lived in the penthouse on Fifth Ave. when he was not at the country club in Palm Beach, says there is a crisis. Who are you going to believe?
How many of the 300,000 (assuming that number is correct) crossed the border illegally? And how may people entered the country illegally 10 years ago. Do some research and educate yourself, don't just parrot what Hannity says. You'll learn that a good percentage of the 300,000 enter the country legally and overstay their visa, so a wall is as effective in stopping them as starting a bonfire with the $25 billion that the wall will cost. And the number of people coming into this country illegally has been dropping precipitously over the last decade. The reasons for this are complicated, but certainly better and more effective border security under Obama is one reason.
And I thought we already covered Schumer's and Pelosi's (and Obama's, for that matter) vote in 2006. They voted for fencing on a portion of the southern border, not for a wall across the entire border. And that was when the technology which can more effectively monitor the border that we have today was not available. It's apples to oranges, but it should be noted that the Democrats similarly voted two days ago in favor of fencing for a limited portion of the border.
