Trump cries: “I want my border wa-wa!” And cheeseburgers.
I'm a week behind but I look forward to these diatribes every month. Not because I agree with the poster, EPIC Flagpole, but they are fun to read.

Jobs = Costs
You want lots of high paying jobs, you get high cost.
You want "essentially free", you get essentially no jobs.
Please get a clue. I think you are a good guy but sometimes you say sh!t that is just embarrassing. Similar to AOC in that way.
There is an upfront cost to build out renewable infrastructure. That's called investment. The investment pays off and we get free energy.
Please get a clue.
It might be more accurate to say that we get to convert the free energy from the sun and wind into very very cheap energy (without having to fight wars or prop up dictatorships).
So, you find something "fun to read" that is declaring something is not true when the verdict is still out on that. I realize you said you don't necessarily agree with that poster, but kind of a weird thing to be entertained by. Ok though, brother...to each his own.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
Let me clarify -
The Flagpole smackdown stuff is funny. That said, I think trump is a crook and trumpism is stupid. The hard core trump supporters here are imbeciles. Not so sure if Mueller is going to bring him down. Maybe maybe not. Just as if not more likely he finishes his term and it will be battle down to the wire for the general election.

Ha ha, and Darwinists point out that the world was created in six days (there have been six “explosions” of life, five extinctions), not explicitly consecutive.
How could they NOT be consecutive?
Well, I suppose that some of them could be simultaneous - but simultaneous days or simultaneous "explosions" of life would be an odd concept.

I thought those were cheeseberders!

You are either profoundly ignorant or you are just being dishonest/trolling.
In either case you are not worth my time. You are now dismissed.
Look, I'm not trolling. I know this stuff.
In principle, it's not that much different from other large infrastructure projects like the Interstate Highway System. There was some upfront costs. It directly created thousands of jobs. And now we drive on the interstates essentially for free (less than a penny per mile in gas tax). The economic benefit is enormous. Our nation would be dirt poor without it.
A complete switch to renewable energy would eventually send electricity cost close to zero. It's something we need to do. China is already heading there. China is now the the world’s largest producer, exporter and installer of solar panels, wind turbines, batteries and electric vehicles.
If we don't switch to low cost renewable energy the Chinese will own everything we've got.

Correct. I'm saying it's "essentially free". The cost becomes so low we don't even think about it.
You don't have to pay for the energy input when you are using sun and wind. Advancing technology sends the cost of converting sun and wind into electricity to near zero. It's just like how you used to pay for classified ads in a newspaper. Technology has sent the cost down to zero. It's essentially free.
But this doesn't happen by itself. We need innovations in public policy as much as in technology. Otherwise, China continues to rise as we continue to fall.
Yes Flagpole, over a year ago, on February 2nd, 2018....see what you said. What a complete joke you are. Now you will say I said that "if Mueller releases soon..." blah, blah, blah!
You're super proud of your moronic predictions when you make them, but as they don't come true, you fall back on words like "if", I said "if". Anybody can say if! You combine that with your Mueller is coming the Clown is done BS and you're looking like a pretty dumb 55 year old politician wanna be!
Well after well over a year, your "ifs" are total BS! Before this post, you repeatedly posted, Mueller's gonna get him. Total BS. You won't be proven wrong, you're already wrong. You are super insecure, which is obvious to most, and you yearn for the approval of others.
He says PREDICTIONS, not guarantees. REALLY? We all thought you had the guaranteed answers to what happens in D.C. Give it a rest, you aren't looking too bright with a post like that fp.
Good morning! How are all you LRC stable geniuses doing this fine am?

I don't understand how anyone could take AOC seriously. Her plan outlines changing the U.S. into a utopia, but without any detail as to how it anything would be paid. It should have been reviewed by economists and a coherent outline would have taken months to complete.
She seems to believe her having received 110,000 votes is confirmation of her ability to save the world. However, to date she seems like a liberal Sarah Palin. I'm a fairly liberal Democrat, but I wish she would just go away.
re the bolded part of your sentence that sure sounds familiar, ehh? Maybe Mexico will pay for it all? lol
The Airhead of Congress might end up as a one termer.
https://theintercept.com/2019/02/09/ocasio-cortez-district-redistricting-2020/Now we are starting to see how the Republican "tax cut" debacle unfolds.
We know it was large permanent tax cut for corporations and an overall generally low and temporary tax cut for workers.
They passed it right before 2018 began and the IRS had to scramble to to create new withholding tables for payroll processors.
Many people saw an immediate small bump in net pay which has been absorbed into people's budgets and forgotten about.
Now the reality is setting in that for many people that withholding was not enough and it is creating smaller tax refunds or having people owe for the first time.
Some people had a tax increase and others view it as an increase when their refunds are lower (even if it was a decrease overall).
The optics and effect are pretty bad.
Or 40%.

When the other polls finally sink below 30%, Rasmussen will climb to 60%.
This tax increase for some is going to get worse and louder as tax season progresses.
If you think the handful of people that didn't keep the exact same insurance under Obamacare caused a stir, let's see the backlash on millions of middle class people that now have higher taxes after the tax cut for the wealthy went into affect.
Let's say 90% of Americans got a tax cut and then 10% got a tax increase.
Out of 150 million taxpayers that would say 15 million middle class Americans may face a tax increase because of this plan.
(just guessing)
That's going to be a lot of pissed off Americans.
It will be hard to campaign on that tax cut next year.
