In a tweet today, Trump claimed the country was headed for a depression before he became president. He also credits himself for preventing a war with North Korea and saving millions of lives. If these things are true, Trump would lap the field when compared to all previous presidents.
Does he actually believe this sh*t or is he just bullish*ting his base?

You are an economics FAILURE. Coal, oil, and natural gas are essentially "free". All you have to do is dig them up, and then distribute it where it is needed--is that "free". And they only exist in certain places. But there is only so much of those you can dig up. The sun shines everywhere*, and the sun is expect to shine for several more billion years.
* The sun shines everywhere except in the cave that Trump will soon build in lieu of his wall.

Poor little Hardloper. His feelings got hurt.
A thought occurred to me today, so I thought I would share.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

You know the answer. Dancers gonna dance. Politicians gonna politic. Liers gonna lie.
It’s not lying if he believes it’s true. His self belief is what makes him who he is. Always has. It’s delusional and psychotic self belief.
This is the same guy who thought the USFL could compete with the NFL after one season.

That's not a thought, it's a programmed and predictable behavior. Nothing personal, it's just what NPC's do, it's not as though you have a choice. Rage on.

Hmm. Jared Kushner is worth an estimated $800 million. He obviously can't afford a lawyer.
So when the Trumpers bought a red hat or contributed to the campaign, they were really paying Jared's legal bills.
Nobody likes to get suckered. But also, nobody likes to admit they were suckered.
Trumpers, how do you feel about this?
It's doubtful any of his followers will respond. They just ignore the stuff they don't like. Jared Kushner the son of a democrat donor is having his legal fees paid for by donations from average Trump supporters.
Talk about been duped.
From the article you posted "The DNC filed the civil suit in April accusing a long list of defendants, Kushner among them..."
Where did the DNC get the money to pay lawyers to file this lawsuit? Donors perhaps?

DNC is using the money donated for DNC. So presumably, they are using the money for the intended purpose.
Likewise, Trump campaign is also using the donation for the intended purpose.
Fighting against the worst witch hunt since Salem trials is essential in re-electing the greatest president since Abe Lincoln.
That’s a question we’ll likely have to deal with anyway should those industries collapse for some reason, like other industries, world markets being what they are....
Invest, retrain.
Buildings and infrastructure need constant maintaince anyway. Where does that money come from? Like I say, literally everything costs money.
Doing something costs money.
Not doing something also costs money (not maintaining existing infrastructure, for example, can end up costing more long term)
Everything costs money.
The market never supported coal and oil, it took massive subsidies, not including the wars fought for those resources and the large cost of decommissioning and environmental damage, particularly with oil.
Many markets already support clean energy because it’s cheaper and more sustainable long term. Does need investment though. Just like the space race, that cost money too.
Money money money money money

UNLIKE, the Trump campaign is NOT USING using the donation for the intended purpose.
THE INVESTIGATIONS INTO THE CRIMINAL TRUMP ORGANIZATION ARE essential in LOCKING UP the WORST president OF ALL TIME.

I don't understand how anyone could take AOC seriously. Her plan outlines changing the U.S. into a utopia, but without any detail as to how it anything would be paid. It should have been reviewed by economists and a coherent outline would have taken months to complete.
She seems to believe her having received 110,000 votes is confirmation of her ability to save the world. However, to date she seems like a liberal Sarah Palin. I'm a fairly liberal Democrat, but I wish she would just go away.
Well, AOC is a lot smarter than Palin. And Palin never had any policy ideas at all that I can remember.
But I get your point about utopia. And the devil is always in the details. It's a tried and true political tactic to hype the ideas and put off the specifics as long as possible.
This is something that makes Elizabeth Warren unique. She is big on policy and she already has the details worked out because she's been working on these details since long before she became a politician. Coming out with solid, detailed plans this early is really brave, and really stupid at the same time. But it's the honest thing to do.
Solar is essentially free after you build the infrastructure. That's what I've always said. Even with today's technology, you can put solar panels on your house and it will pay for itself in 8 to 10 years. After that, you are getting all your electricity for free.
It's the same principle with a nationwide build-out of renewable energy. We would have a surge in renewable energy jobs that would last a few decades. The cost of energy would start to plummet until it reaches essentially zero.
So they are not mutually exclusive. It's investment that gives us thousands of new jobs now and free energy later. Both now and later, we reap huge economic benefits.

China continues to pollute the air magnitudes worse than ever did and it continues with no end in sight. This New Green Deal sounds great on the surface but once people study it in greater detail, it will be ultimately rejected. This harebrained plan was hatched in la la land: health care for all, a guaranteed a job for every American whether they want to work or not (LOL!!!), retrofit every building to "green", etc. This is socialism no matter how much you leftists try to spin it.
This is going to cost trillion$, result in massively higher taxes and a massive fail for the dem 2020 nominee.
This is DOA.
China does have the end in sight. China is using its centrally-controlled economy to mandate green power and green transportation. China is the undisputed leader in the production of solar panels. And China is home to the world's largest solar farms, with many more being built.
Also note that the reason China overtook us as the leader in greenhouse gas emissions is because they took over so much of the world's production of goods. If that didn't happen, all the factories would just be pumping out the same pollution elsewhere.
You say that the Green New Deal will be rejected once the details are known. But you can't possibly know that because the details don't exist yet. The ideas for the new green economy were not hatched in la la land. Some of the world's best engineers and economists have been working together on this. Good public policy will be crucial. The math works out and it's really good news.
We can make this happen. And it will be the greatest achievement of mankind.
That's all you got Snow Flake?? ;-) Go hide in your mom's basement (Your Future) and squeeze your mommy's dolls and cry. :-)
The problem is that AOC is only 29 years old and even if she is talented, she just isn't ready to spearhead major policies. She should cool her jets for 10+ years and formulate some well thought out policies. In just about any industry experience matters.
