Of course. I’m mostly gray on the topic. Get rid of gun shows or regulate them much better.
I’m ok with AR15s and similar weapons, just limit magazine capacity.
Make the initial process to own any gun longer. Require safety training. Improve the background check.
Have as many guns as you want.
Require registration/certification every 5 yrs.
Only issue is that it will take YEARS if not DECADES for any restrictions to really take hold with all of the high capacity mags on the market and many people having guns who really lack training or have mental issues.

Just wondering if you bothered to educate yourself on this. The methodology used to determine the 95,000 "non-citizens" registered and 58,000 "non-citizen" voters is a bit suspect.
Cliff Notes version:
They checked voter records against driver's license records. If someone used non-citizen documents to apply for a driver's license they are being tagged as non-citizens in voter registration records. The problem, of course, is that individuals who are Texas residents but not US citizens at the time of their application for a driver's license can and do change their citizenship status. Further, there is no requirement and no reason at all to notify the department of motor vehicles about said change. Therefore, there are LOTS of US citizens who used non-citizen documents to apply for their driver's license.
To provide some idea about the magnitude of the problem with this "study", about 50,000 Texas residents become naturalized citizens each year. Over the period of the study (1996 - 2016?) that would be about 1,000,000 Texas residents who have become naturalized US citizens. With this, it is actually surprising that they found only 95,000 discrepancies between driver's license records and voter citizenship status.
In terms of verified instances of non-citizens registering to vote the numbers are slightly different than the 95,000. 97 people in total were prosecuted for voter fraud (of all kinds) during the 13 year period ending in 2017. That is an average of 7 - 8 cases per year. It is not clear how many of those 7 per year were related to non-citizenship status but it seems likely that it is somewhat less than 95,000. ;-)

Wait, so you mean that Lying Gary (oh, I mean "Thisthreadisridiculous") posted something that was wildly misleading? And that his absurdly misleading link was from FOX and friends?
I am shocked! Shocked, I tell you!

It is pretty amazing to look at statements Trump, his associates, and campaign officials made in 2016 and early 2017 versus what we know happened now. But, as you stated, these facts are unlikely to change how Trumps mouthbreathing base views this situation.

Sorry, but it's always hilarious when I haven't been here for a long time and upon return it defaults to top of page one of this thread. I am greeted by a right winger who actually thinks he knows something. Always absolutely priceless.

It's almost like it is Trump himself who is making all these posts - so easily checked that they are lies or at best wildly misleading. Do these guys count on nobody bothering to check? Do they not understand anything? Do they just post whatever comes into their "minds" (ala Trump and his tweets) without taking even one second for reflection on what it is that they are posting?
Weird sh!t for sure.
Yeah, and as usual trump pronounces the shutdown over, but paychecks & economic security may take awhile. He’s made millions of enemies & everyone is counting those votes, even his own party.

Agreed - and I think Romney should run and can score huge on this issue. I would vote for him, depending on the weakness of the Dem bench.
I wouldn’t say zero chance, because Trump might be stupid enough to give them the whole house to get his little wish - but extremely unlikely. He’d have to really officer something incredible. Politically he’s done, powers are quite limited now and his political capital is dried up. If GOP doesn’t start to publicly pivot away from him it will get dragged through the mud even more. I’ll assume they will continue to support him all the way though one of the ugliest defeats of an incumbent in history.

The article says 33 people were prosecuted for voter fraud last year.
How many of those 33 were among the 58,000? (Hint: the answer is close to zero.)
How many total cases of non-citizen voters have been prosecuted? (Hint: the answer is close to zero.)
So either the 58,000 number is pure bull or Texas law enforcement isn't doing its job. (Hint: It's the former.)
The millions who STILL have no pay are a bigger political problem.
