"Each of the nine House members whose districts touch the border from California to Texas opposes a wall as the wrong solution for border security." - NYT
But Montanans and Kansans want the wall.
Why do they want the wall? Race. That's it.

CNN is doing itself a disservice with its headline on the shutdown:
"Donald Trump caved. And now the government is going to re-open."
While CNN is FAR superior to Fox or Breitbart or any right-wing news source in terms of bias, this headline is poor journalism and does show bias.
Using "caved" is not good.
Bad form CNN!
Just yesterday Trump tweeted - We will not cave!
They are using his word.

No way he walks on this. Just too many avenues and already too much evidence that Mueller has corroboration. The level of criminality is insane...far more than what Reagan did. Far more than what Nixon did. Far more than what B. Clinton did. MORE things and MORE SEVERE things.
He is going to prison.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
Can you give us specifics into what coorborating evidence Mueller has and which criminal acts Trump has committed (with supporting evidence, of course) that will lead Trump to go to prison? Thanks.
Flagpole has gotten nothing wrong during this entire investigation.
He is batting 100 on this.

I respond when I feel like it and mostly to correct incorrect statements. Stop saying incorrect things and you greatly increase the chance I won't respond to you. You can't outlast me. You can't outwit me. Just know that.

Flagpole is right.
You can’t outlast stupid.

San Diego has a wall and those migrants in Tijuana were STOPPED by the wall. The nine house members you reference are radicals who want open borders so more people will vote for Democrats. They don't care about the country, they only care about the Democratic party and its influence in screwing up the country. Just a shame.
Another Trump will also get elected if the left doesn't get their sh4t together. No idiots like Hillary, AOC, Kamala, Biden, Beto, or Bernie. Your high levels of intelligence are on overload, combined with vegence, hate, and vitriol, you can't see the forest for the trees. Move back to the middle. Comprehende?
Republicans will run on a shutdown platform in 2020, it worked so well today.

Glad you explained yourself. I think agip and Flagpole were getting scared. I was at least confused. It is hard enough keeping track of all Trump news.

You cannot argue this issue with Trump supporters. They think everyone does everything to satisfy their ego. Mueller has been and is calculated. He is also playing the long game. Instant gratification is for Trump and his supporters. Easy to operate that way. Takes discipline to see things through and follow the process. That’s why Trump is constantly contradicting himself and his cabinet. Something pops into his head and he blurts it out. Doesn’t think a split second ahead. I do find it amazing that conservatives have become so comfortable with people lying under oath and to law enforcement. The movement has shifted for sure.
You are CORRECT, and I know all this. Just in a mood today to tackle the big ignorant voice of the day.
I will eventually shift back to ignoring the crazy.
You know you should devote much more energy into actually changing the future instead of railing against internet trolls like Sally Vixxen (who I thought was definitely outed as Hardloper or jamin or one of those idiots like 2 years ago) and carrying on with this "Clown Is Down" campaign. I hope this time next year you're out canvasing for a candidate, local or national, or registering people to vote.
I know how much you like to consider yourself the flag bearer (semi pun intended) of truth and justice but this investigation and whatever fruit it yields isn't going to prevent millions of people from electing the next Donald Trump. Yeah, if he broke the law then he needs to go because it's all about the precedent, but getting rid of Trump doesn't get rid of the problems millions of Americans have that drove them to vote for that dipsh!t in the first place.

We have Trump on tape discussing a FELONY campaign finance law violation with Michael Cohen (so Cohen's word AND a recording...AND reportedly corroboration from David Pecker too. Also, Weisselberg wasn't given immunity without being able to provide information they find useful (useful information is corroborated information).
Trump will go to prison for FELONY campaign finance violation (for which there is corroboration) AND bank fraud and other associated fraud that is proven out of the SDNY office. Part of Cohen's sentence is based on his two felony campaign finance violations, and Trump directed him to do that and is named currently as an unindicted co-conspirator. Cohen was given a lighter sentence for cooperating. Typically the one directing the felony gets a longer sentence. The governor of New York will not pardon Trump for the state crimes.
There will also be lots of people that we will know about who have testified that Trump attempted to obstruct justice with them, but we have corroboration on much of that because we have seen him do it in public.
So, the above answers the question you have, but there will be indictments on the federal level too. Pence might pardon, but we will have to see if he has the ability to or the wherewithal to. The totality of the information is going to be damning. He will have to resign or he will be impeached and convicted and removed by the Senate.
Mueller is coming. The SDNY is coming.
The clown is done.
1) I do my part to change the future.
2) Apparently I haven't said "The clown is done" enough, because you got the phrase wrong. Thanks for letting me know that I need to do it MORE often.
3) We have laws for a reason...to prevent chaos. Punishment for breaking laws achieves this in two main ways: a) for serious criminals, it puts them in prison; b) for those who THINK they might want to commit a crime, the fear of prison is a deterrent. Obviously it is not a deterrent for everyone, but we would have much more crime if there weren't punishment for it.
4) Punishing Trump won't necessarily change the minds of stupid voters, but it likely WILL change the mind of someone who is like Trump from even running...someone who has a long criminal past (yet to be caught) and who has autocratic tendencies. Trump needs to be punished and punished good so that no one even close to his situation will think of running...at least not for a LONG time. To be fair, Trump is quite unique. I'm sure there are some scumbags out there who have been money laundering for a long time, but Trump has been famous and ubiquitous for a long time. Would be hard for there to be another one quite like him.
Since you got the phrase wrong, I have to put it in this post...only yourself to blame there.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
No problem. I do what I can

Funny, but that would mean I believe that to be true from me toward ANY poster here, and I ALWAYS give people the benefit of the doubt. I always believe people are smart until they give me a reason not to; innocent until proven guilty as it were, and I NEVER assume I am the smartest in the room. The quote from me that you have there was directed toward one poster who gave ample evidence, not my attitude toward all posters.
Good answer!
