I don’t need to defend Trump, he has attorneys for that. Just like the media does not need to try Trump, Mueller has the ability to charge and refer for prosecution or report to Congress. That seems not to be enough for you. Like the Kavanaugh hearing, much that turned out to be wrong and politically motivated. The constant harranging and theorizing here seems over the top. That’s all.
The constant "harranging and theorizing" is what desperate people do. Think about it. It's all they have. There's zero indictments of Russian Collusion or Obstruction. Then, Mueller was forced to come out of a long silence to correct a fake story about Trump doing an unlawful act. Every time they think "they've got him on [something]!", it falls flat.
The huge problem is that currently there is a huge gap of unaccountability of these people - particularly high profile individuals and politicians - who jump to conclusions, cause mob chaos on social media, and are then able to delete their old tweets/posts that end up being completely false. It's happened time and time again now, without any tangible penalty for the offenders.

I wonder what the SDNY would have to say about the Buzzfeed story.

Yup. Desperate, and deranged, rabid Trumpers, like Iggy and you, HardLoper,
BREAKING: Trump Defeated!
DACA is OFF-THE-TABLE!
The SCOTUS took no action on Trump’s request that it review DACA to decree he has the authority to end the program.
So, DACA remains in place, and Trump's bogus offer to temporarily extend the program for three-years is a YUGE NOTHINGBURGER!

Dude! Sorry you missed so much news! here, I'll help you get back up to speed, with a list of indictments of trumpers and associates. . And we're not done yet, obvi - Don Jr, Ivanka, POTUS are still up the food chain. It's an old fashioned Gambine-style roll-up!
George Papadopoulos,
Paul Manafort (gave secret internal polling info to russian intelligence!)
Rick Gates
Michael Flynn
13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies
Richard Pinedo
Alex van der Zwaan
Konstantin Kilimnik
12 Russian GRU officers
Michael Cohen
Ok, now proceed with your 'but those weren't collusion' and quickly abandon all your moral standing and admit you are an amoral political creature who only cares about his political party winning.
First, you don't know what you are talking about. Tiny's campaign chairman, Paul Manafort has already been convicted of collusion. In legal terms it's known as conspiracy. That's right. The president's campaign chairman was convicted of Conspiracy against the United States of America.
Second, we don't actually need to theorize and speculate. 33 people and companies have been indicted so far. Many have already been convicted.
But it is interesting to theorize and speculate about where we go from here. It's fun to try to predict the future.
And given what we know, here is a prediction that is very likely to come true:
Tiny is going to prison.

I don't know if you consider me to be one of Flagpole's cronies, but we do agree more often than not.
I will state for the record that I have never commented on this incident. I don't understand why anyone ever found it interesting or important.
Also for the record, agip did apologize.

They are the same type of cockazoid troglodytes who display Trump banners and shout "Trump Trump" or "Build the wall" at high school sporting events against Black opponents. They knew exactly what they were doing but yet they try to act like they are shocked and surprised by the reaction of others.
honestly, if you are going to judge people on that very short clip, then you have learned nothing from this whole episode.

I wish those brats would have left the Mall and traveled up 7th Street to Howard University wearing those stupid azz clown hat's screaming build the wall. Get up in somebody's face up there and the result would have been much different. I can say with complete confidence that smug look would have been forcibly removed from his face.

That’s scary and not in a good way for either party. It’s like a blank check to allow any Dem in office only because he/she is not Trump.
We don’t need a “not-Trump” in the same way we don’t need a “not-Clinton” or “not-Obama”.

well, to be fair, those are all US senators and reps etc. - we're not talking some guy of the street.

I wonder how such numbers compare to similar polling numbers for recent first term presidents? Sitting presidents have a huge advantage as is born out with reelection results in the past. Did polls 2 years prior to the reelection point to the sitting POTUS winning reelection? Or were they more like the above?
Them being choir boys (or not) is not relevant to what happened in the widely publicized videos.

It is not obvious to me that we do any better by taking some guy from the US Senate or House of Reps rather than taking some guy off the street.
