“Let that sink in. Trump hired a FOREIGN AGENT as NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR.” – Fat Hurts
Corollary:
“Let that sink in. Trump IS a FOREIGN AGENT working as POTUS.” – 1100
That's simply not true at all. If Tiny asked for $5 billion to do everything you just said without a foolish wall, it would be passed in hot minute.
Democrats have always approved appropriations for border security and they will continue to do so in the future.
Wrong. We seem to have a lot of “experts” on the subject all over the country except near the border. When people such as yourself pontificate about "walls not working" despite evidence to the contrary from people to who live near the border and from about 90% of border patrol officers -that truly makes you the idiot.

Soon Trump will be behind some nice walls.

A local news station in San Diego said CNN asked them to do a story on the wall - but CNN lost interest after seeing the Border Patrol Agents in it confirm that it works. Sooo... CNN had the chance to be helpful in ending the shutdown, but chose to be biased instead.
CNN isn't interested in reporting the facts. They prefer to stick to the narrative that "walls don't work."

So, someone at KUSI is an unusually stable genius and somehow determined the process and motivations of the folks at CNN? Brilliant!
My DOG, you are dumb! Were you born that way? Or have you had to practice really, really hard to reach that pinnacle of stupidity?
It'd be wise to listen to these agents. They're the ones on the front lines everyday dealing with this issue.
They have a bit more situational awareness than Chuck and Nancy.
Try again, troll.

Kindly point out to me where I made any reference to said agents?
Or you could work on your reading comprehension.
Or you could just STFU.

CNN has been preaching that "walls don't work" 24x 7. When presented with an alternate viewpoint, they refused to run the report from San Diego. You do realize that they cannot deviate from the company line. That stable genius comment you made was just silly and irrelevant to the argument.
Yes, you never made a comment about the agents; however, what they said carries more. weight than what the democrat leadership is selling to the American people.

Bahahahaha! Mother Jones? Slate? NY Times? All anti- Trump rags. The original source was from the National Border Patrol Council. And your credibility is completely shot when you post only from liberal news sources. Try harder.

Fool. Your "survey" was conducted by a group called the National Border Patrol Council.
“The NBPC has had a longstanding practice of not endorsing presidential candidates in the primaries. We will not, however, shy away from voicing our opinions as it pertains to border security and the men and women of the United States Border Patrol. As such, we are breaking with our past practice and giving our first-ever endorsement in a presidential primary,” NBPC President Brandon Judd wrote in a letter reviewed by Breitbart News.

Rigged managed to tie himself into a Trumper knot. He managed to--
-- Provide a link to a California TV station controlled by a Texas Trump support
-- That tried to prove a survey conducted by a Trumper was 100% legit
-- With the Trumper being a frequent Fox News guest
-- With the survey vetted for accuracy by Brietbart News
LOL

But without the shutdown, they wouldn't be able to lift the Deripaska sanctions. Right now, nobody is paying attention and congress is too busy with the shutdown to do anything about it.
You mean, nobody on this board is paying attention? Why does that matter? The House just had a closed session with Mnuchin on this yesterday. Any one who watches TRMS knows this is a big deal.
Like it or not, news coverage is often the driver of congressional action. It's not enough that members of congress know about this. They need the time, energy, and incentive to do something about it before the sanctions are lifted. With only a few days left, it doesn't look like that will happen.
And why don't they have the time, energy, and incentive? It's because they are dealing with the foolish shutdown that is dominating the headlines and thus dominating the agenda in Washington.
Again, it is possible that this is all by design. Tiny knows how to whip up a frenzy and that's just what he's doing. Might he be playing shutdown politics so nobody notices that he is doing Putin's bidding?
So here is what your precious National Border Patrol Council said about walls. This was posted on their FAQ page until the page was just taken down recently:
Somehow, the NBPC has done a 180 on this issue.
So yeah, let's go with the opinion of the people on the front lines. For years and years, the NBPC said they didn't want a wall. Then somehow, they got sold out to Tiny's campaign.
I'll go with what they said all along before they were corrupted by politics.
Actually, it might be better if this stays under the radar. Senate Republicans are more likely to vote with Democrats if their votes do not invite much attention.
