Good morning! How are all you LRC stable geniuses doing this fine am?
In case any of you were wondering...
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
Mueller Mueller Hmmm wrote:
"Special counsel in DC wanted him to get no jail time . . . "
Yeah. That was pretty well publicized.
Watching the Fox and Friends cast squirm in their seats everytime the Judge.....typically one who sides with Trump....mentioned that it was a crime by the POTUS was pretty funny. I thought Kilmeade was going to burst into tears. "But this can't possibly be happening!!!!".

No it was not because it’s not true. Mueller’s team has asked for leniency for Flynn, not Cohen. Here is the actual document Mueller himself filed in regards to Cohen’s sentencing....
https://m.sfgate.com/file/364/5/3645-Special-counsel-sentencing-recommendation-for.pdfHe defers to SDNY in regards to the type and length of sentence. No where in this document does he say he should not serve prison time. He states Cohen has and is still is not being 100% cooperative. Cohen may choose to give up more now that he has been sentenced but Mueller never said “Michael Cohen should not serve prison time”.
He did say that Flynn shouldn’t go to prison probably because Flynn has given him evidence directly linking Trump to conspiracy with Suadi Arabia and Israel to influence the 2016 election and for Trump org to profit from the presidency.

Dammit. You're right. My bad. I mixed up the criminals. Not hard to do since there are so many.
My greater point of watching the Fox & Friends cast squirm still holds.

Swamp creature, and criminal, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is stepping down in an effort to shield the White House from embarrassment when the new House of Reps starts investigating him for self-dealing.

At least Judge N. tells them like it is. The Fox and Friends group is beyond ridiculous...they tried everything they could to get the Judge to say it was ok.
Wheels are falling off.

But but but Edwards....
But but but Rev Wright and Obama (bruh they going deep into the well for that one). I never hear left of center commentators dragging out Bush’s name, at least not with such frequency....let ex presidents be EX presidents.
I honestly don’t care as much for the campaign finance charge. He paid off a porn star...meh. I equate it with Clinton lying about his affair. Both bad impeachable offenses.....but neither are Nixon level.
Now I think we will see lots of dirty deeds and illegal activities come to light concerning Trump and Trump Co but does it rise to the level of High Crimes and Misdemeanors? That is still vague I think, unless they can prove obstruction or conspiracy.
Alan
Well, I will say the FELONY campaign finance violation(s) DO rise to Nixon level. Clear willful deceit of a law that is clear as day that what they did was a felony. BUT, you are right that this won't be the end of it. Obstruction of justice, perjury, and Conspiracy will be proven. He is in BIG trouble.
If he is smart, he will try to do what some lawyers have suggested and do some sort of plea deal that allows him to cop to lesser charges in exchange for his resignation.
As I have said for over a year now, he WILL resign OR be impeached and convicted by the Senate. The info is going to be that bad that Senate Republicans will HAVE to do it.
I think you’re wrong. Senate Republicans today are not like they were in the 70s. Trump will not resign nor be convicted by the senate. He will run in 2020. Mainly because some voters will believe the doubt he has cast and so his support will remain in the low 40s. Which means it becomes a game of getting your numbers to the polls.
Alan
When??? I hope you are right, but increasingly I have my doubts. I think his reelection is as likely as the clown being done.

^ this is the correct answer. Oh and Flagpole I know how much you like Lindsay Graham because "he's just a responsible not crazy Republican who loves the country more than his party" blah blah
https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/lindsey-graham-trump-lying-about-sex_us_5c14388ae4b009b8aea75d0aSpoiler alert : he's a stupid and spineless as the rest of the idiots and he always has been and always will be.

I don’t see how the fluke of 2016 repeats itself. The board keeps changing. If he keeps the same %s as 2016 he will lose in 2020 simply due an increasing # of minority and young voters. Well unless Clinton manages to run and win the primaries, Or if there’s a democrat Ross Perot running as a third.
Alan
This is correct. To get him out of office before the end of 2020 he will need to be thrown in prison.
Gonna have to agree with Alan on this one. There will likely be no serious consequences for Trump from any of his real or perceived wrongdoings (impeachment by the House and acquittal by the Senate does not count as a serious consequence).
The fundamental problem is that at least one of the following has to turn on Trump:
SCOTUS
GOP Senate
DOJ
I don't see that happening.

Our national nightmare is just beginning. But not for the reason you think.
Carter, Reagan Clinton, Bush 43 and Obama all campaigned as Washington outsiders. But once they were in office, they quickly got swamped into the Deep State. Now we know why.
President Trump is the only one who had the courage and fortitude to resist the constant pressure from the Deep State. And look what has happened to him. From now on, every president will have to worry about constant investigation and harassment. And in all likelihood, they will cave in, just like all the previous ones did.
I think there are three kinds of people who want President Trump to be impeached. The first is the partisan hacks who think Pence is an easier opponent to beat in 2020. But if Trump is removed by a bloodless coup, that will galvanize the forgotten men and women like you've never seen before. The second is those who hold some personal vendetta against our president. Those people need to put our country before their personal feelings.
But the most scary group is the agents of the Deep State who believe unelected bureaucracy should be allowed to control the popularly elected president. Even though they might be the smallest group of the three, they might be controlling the mind of the first two by manipulation through the mainstream media.
Forgotten men and women of American need to be united behind our People's President, and against the conspiracy of the Deep State!
Apparently, Trump is once again playing 4-D chess while all you chumps are playin’ checkers....
Brilliant moves that Trump is CHOOSING to make in terms of his WH staff.
Is the average Fox News viewers age > IQ?
Hey, it's Lying Gary!
Yo dude, you are NOT forgotten! You will never be Forgotten Man. Maybe try Black Rifles Matter or Truth Seaker. Or heck even go back to being Lying Gary. That one is a classic and will NEVER be forgotten!
