1) Could be. The point though is that this is getting so bad that Democrats are bringing up this as a topic. Political to bring it up, of course, but it does show how bad this is getting for The Orange One.
2) Similar answer to #1 -- just shows how bad this is getting. Americans know what the right thing to do is, and if Senate Republicans stand in the way of ANYTHING that is right with regard to Trump, they will go down as being on the wrong side of history. Any Presidential veto on something like that will just add to Obstruction of Justice.
3) You said "although conviction is highly likely". I will assume you meant "conviction is highly UNlikely". With this opinion, you didn't live up to the directions. WHY is it highly unlikely? That doesn't make sense. Cohen is going to spend 3 years in jail for primarily doing what Trump told him to do (and Trump has more legal exposure than just that), and the SDNY agrees that he did it at the direction of Trump. WHY do you believe a Trump conviction is unlikely?
4) If ifs and buts were candy and nuts. Lot of assumptions there, brother. I don't think he can for sure count on a pardon. If and when conspiracy with Russia to win an election is proven, a pardon for that could be political suicide. Pence isn't for sure in the clear here either. He DID run the transition team after all. I have no opinion on his fate yet, but I certainly don't think he is for sure in the clear.
5) Speculation on state charges just speculation? Ok. While that's a true statement, so is speculating that the sun won't explode before tomorrow.
You are going to be disappointed with the outcome here. Americans aren't going to allow this behavior to stand.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
