Did anyone else notice Trump is now adding disease to the list of things being brought over the border?
Also fentanyl is a prescription drug and the biggest drug problem we have is with prescription drug use and addiction.

And fentanyl is coming from China, which also hacked Mariott to the tune of 300 million guests, in addition to the Huawei CFO selling to the Iranians.

Gonna be closer to 90k. Audi e-Tron GT is set at 80k right now so 75k for the Porsche would mess up VW's pricing tier
From Road and Track:
Speaking to Automotive News, the model-line director for the Taycan, Rober Meier, said "we're expecting a price somewhere between a Cayenne and a Panamera," when asked how much the EV will cost. In the US, the Cayenne starts at just under $66,000, while the Panamera starts at $85,000. So perhaps the Taycan will start in the $75,000 range.
If 80K is correct for the e-Tron, you have a good point though. I guess we will wait and see. Won't be out for almost a year.
So these things are for the rich only?
Apparently the House of Representatives doesn’t understand why if you Google “idiot” a picture of Donald Trump comes up. I laughed out loud. I mean, why does a picture of an orange come up when you google “orange”?

Not long ago, somebody on Fox News was saying that they were bringing in smallpox, which of course was eradicated from the earth in 1980.

Well I doubt you'll see a high performance all electric fully loaded Audi or Porsche for low income people anytime soon. I hear the Chevy Bolt is wonderful entry level EV though

No. Like other cars, you can buy a luxury model if you want to pay more for the very latest technology.
My Chevy Bolt starts at 35K. With the tax credit, you can still get it for under 30K.
Tesla still says it is coming out with its own 35K version of the Model 3 in 4 to 5 months.

Like I said - only for the rich.

The average price for a new car in the US is $35,742.
With the tax credit, you can get it for around 28K. That's the 2017 Motor Trend Car of the Year for only 28K. You can also buy a used one for much less than that.

Have you read the Fourth Turning?
I have not, but a brief description of it that I just read makes it seem interesting.
It is an excellent read - talks about generational cycles and how general public attitudes shift over time lending to the nation getting on different paths, or stages. I'll let you guess which stage we are in right now... btw this book was written in the 90s, seems a good predictor so far.
1. High - “an upbeat era of strengthening institutions and weakening individualism, when a new civic order implants and the old values regime decays.”
2. Awakening - “a passionate are of spiritual upheaval, when the civic order comes under attack from a new values regime.”
3. Unraveling - “a downcast era of strengthening individualism and weakening institutions, when the old civic order decays and the new values regime implants.”
4. Crisis - “a decisive era of secular upheaval, when the values regime propels the replacement of the old civic order with a new one.”

You can get a beautiful well maintained Ur-Quattro for 35k right now. I know where my money would go.
Also, average new car payment is like 520 a month or something stupid. How do average people afford that? They don't. Get 'em Flagpole! Talk some sense into the average American

Let him keep appealing to a dying group, he’ll soon see this one off tactic is a failure.
Loved to see Pelosi going for the jugular. She was quoted questioning his manhood - ouch. It is also now officially Trump’s shutdown, he took full ownership. The 5-yr old is going to put his own house on fire because he’s angry but he’s going to be stuck inside and by the time his tantrum is over and he realizes what’s happening everyone else has already left the premises and he’s stuck there all alone.
I think Biden is more popular now then when he was VP. The elephant in the room is his son and the reason why he didn’t run in 2016. I think for many he was the candidate they really wanted in 2016.
Populism or Nationalism works for an aging racist scared population.

Hey fun fact but did you know Nancy Peolsi opened a huge long position on Amazon that seemed kind of a stretch and then Amazon and the market soared a week later and she cashed out for like 10x her original investment because politicians are allowed to insider trade?
Now you know :D
Speaking of the ages of politicians...
The Dems have two young, charismatic leaders: AOC and Beto. Look, they even have nicknames.
This is a change - a year ago the talk was of how old and leaderless the Dems are.
There is no similar young leader among the right wing politicians.
Small samples, but sometimes it only takes a couple people to move a few million votes.
Interesting change, too.

Young Republicans all seem to think Tom Cotton is going to lead them to the promised land.
I like Beto's platform but he needed to win Texas to have a chance in the presidential race.

disagree - Dems and Is are so hungry for leadership that they will latch on to Beto. I mean have you seen his talk about kneeling being a American protest? It is bloody genius. And he comes off as authentic, not a phony like HRC. Beto won a straw poll yesterday - he's the front runner as far as I am concerned.
Policy just doesn't matter right now.
Beto picks a black veep and it's all over.
Beto-Booker? Beto - Abrams?
Beto booker sounds pretty darn good.

AOC is definitely the future of our Party. She is an absolute rock star and has already put several Repubs in their place.
