You might be underestimating the impact of a potential loss of 500k-1m votes in 2020 vs 2016. One thing is for sure, an impeachment will hurt trump more than it would hurt the Dems.

First of all, the "king of hill climbing" will forever be the Audi Sport Quattro. Second, good for VW putting up an electric car, because I hate Tesla and all their annoying fanboys and would love for VW/Audi to put them out of business.
The problem with audi is they have been talking about an all electric car for like 5 years now... it's always it will be here in x months but then x months comes and goes and they say it will be here in x months... annoying.... they are now allowing you to put a $1000 deposit on their all electric SUV which will supposedly be delivered in 9 months but what person in their right mind buys a completely new model car without having the opportunity to test drive that model of car before buying???
I don't want a tesla but at least they let you test drive an example of what you will be getting... thinking about the Jaguar all electric but I'll bet they offer the same situation as audi....
Add this to the issues that keep blowing up in his face. During today’s mini televised debate between Trump, “Pence”, Pelosi and Schumer the idiot prez showed just how weak he is at deal making. Trump said the shut down would be on him, yes that’s right on him personally. He gave up that leverage for free, taking full ownership of an expected fvxk up. Why did I put Pence in quotation marks you may ask? Because he might as well not been present - didn’t say a word or even flinch. He knew how stupid trump would make himself look and wanted no part of that. The shutdown is likely and it will just hurt trump and GOP.
How about tens of thousands of people that put down for Tesla model 3s like 2 years before the first was even delivered. And to be honest it's not like Audi fans are any better than hardcore Tesla fans, easily as obnoxious and dedicated. Just look at me!
Audi and Porsche are on a collaboration project and invested 2 billion dollars to a modular all electric platform that they can use for a bunch of models. On top of that, VW has committed an insane amount of money to electric platforms. e-Tron was a joke and simple display at car shows a few years ago but they have it ready for real now and they're really eyeing the Model S market share. This is the end for Tesla. It was only a matter of time until one of the big boys decided to show up, thank them for all the hard work they did on battery tech, and then crush them under actual high production assembly lines.

Maybe that's because you don't have a very good brain.

yes. you are probably right... you need a good brain to understand why it's good business sense to put down $1000 on a model of car that has never been produced... good point. You must have a good brain.

you do not have a 'good' brain ... if you did you would realize that only going with companies that have produced cars means closing the doors to any new car manufacturer ... you are pro monopolies, limited markets, limited consumer choice ... and you call yourself a 'republican/trumpkin'?

It just illustrates how confident he is in the stupidity of his supporters and the knowledge that all he has is his base so he doesn't have to waste time trying to appeal to anyone but the stupid. He doesn't have to explain not living up to past promises, he doesn't have to explain the harm it will cause to Americans, all he has to do is repeat the catch phrases that his mindless supporters are only able to hear. The important thing is that stupid people are frightened people because when you don't understand simple things, everything is scary. Tell them the border is scary, and that's all they need to hear. I mean, who wants people with "lots of problems" coming into the country. Lots of problems are scary. So scary.
Oh, and drugs. Do Trumpers even know what drug is killing the most people and where it comes from? It's not being carted across the Mexican border. If an entire ocean can't keep out fentanyl, why in the world would spending billions on a wall with Mexico somehow keep it out? And is US the only country with drugs since it shares a border with Mexico? Is that what they believe? So, since the UK is an island an doesn't share a border with Mexico, no drugs there? It's all so stupid and requires an almost complete absence of thought.
dude, pretending Trump or Trumpers make decisions based on facts makes you dumber than you think the trumpers are.
Great post. And then enter Rigged and Gary. They’ll tell you that you are being a snobby intellectual know-it-all, even though you are talking about the most basic indisputable facts out there.
You read that and your take away was that the poster believed Trump and Trumpers think? And then you insulted him for thinking that? That's funny and very sad. It's pretty clear the point was they don't think - the clue was "requires an almost complete absence of thought". If you don't understand any of those words, you can look them up online or just ask someone to explain them to you.

Oh, I have a good brain, alright. I have a VERY good brain. Indeed, I am a very stable genius and I know words. I know the best words!
Dude, pretending Trump or Trumpers make decisions based on facts is the exact opposite of what he posted. Which makes YOU dumber than Trump and his brain-dead hordes.
Do try to keep up.

Looking forward to it. Should be fun. I love shaming muscle cars in my EV hatchback.
Why are electric cars so tiny?
They aren't these days. There are several large EV's on the market now.
Mine happens to be a hatchback. The exterior dimensions are about the same as you would expect in a Chevy hatchback.
But it has A LOT more interior room than the conventional car because you don't need all that space for a big internal combustion engine.

No. He was trying to convert you. You just weren't aware of it. Jesus said he has to do it.
Jesus didn't say that.
I do try to spread the good news of Jesus. If you are interested that's wonderful. I'll be happy to tell you more. If not, I won't dwell on it.

You're definitely not wrong, but this is has been true pretty much since 1776 when America was founded ("OH BUT ACTUALLY I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW AMERICA WAS TECHNICALLY FOUNDED ON XX/XX/XXX") and I think it's better to talk about the solution because the problem at this point is somewhat obvious.
Here's a problem with not obvious solution : how do we prevent Donald Trump 2.0 in 4, 8, 16, ... years?

Are these cars good for road trips?
Yes. This past summer I took my family on a trip where we covered over 1000 miles in the EV.
It does take a little more planning though. You can't just stop at any exit when you need to charge the battery. So you need to go on plugshare.com and plan your route and your stops.
I've found that if the trip requires more than one stop then it will take a little longer than a gas car. The first stop is for a meal just like we would normally do. So you don't lose any time charging for the first stop. But for the second charging stop you need to find something to do while you wait. Some of the places we stop to charge are fun places that the family enjoys and we would have never stopped there otherwise.
So if it's normally a five hour drive, it might take you six. For some people that's unacceptable. I don't mind.
However, the situation is getting better every day. Fast charging sites are popping up everywhere so you have a lot more choices. And charging times are getting lots faster too. Next year Porsche is coming out with a car that will charge the battery to 80% full in 15 minutes.
