This. History has shown us people are fine with a felon as president so long that he is either popular or the economy is doing great. It’s not right, and impeachment is not the right way to ensure accountability. A challenge could be made to the DOJs internal policy to not indict sitting presidents but that would make both sides sweat.

Alan, did you see my comment a few pages ago? It was a weight training question regarding Wendler's 5/3/1. I didn't want to start a separate thread
Nope. I don’t cling to every page here. I just see what the last page has to say since there’s so many replies to each other.
My standard response to any strength training question:
1. Should you do it? Yes.
2. Frequency? 1-2x week.
3. Duration? 30-45min.
4. How? Big compound movements. Core exercises should be lower body. I suggest trap bar deadlift and front squat. Secondary should be upper body. I suggest dips and pull-ups. Start with light weights not to failure learn the movement. Then just follow a standard linear progression for 6mo.
5. What next? Add in plyos and/or power exercises. One each. 3-5 sets x 3-5 reps.
6. Should I do 5/3/1 or this program or that one. Doesn’t matter. Progression matters. Specificity matters. Any cookie cutter program you find is not geared for runners. They will typically use too much frequency or volume.

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/andrew-c-mccarthy-why-trump-is-likely-to-be-indicted-by-manhattan-us-attorneyTypically on a day like today their top story would be something about Hillary, Bill, the migrant “invasion”, the “war on Christmas”, or something else to scare their overly fearful / hateful viewers.
If SDNY is going to indict then I just hope they wait awhile. Once Mueller is finished exposing the rest of Tiny's crimes then prosecutors will need to wait in line. It just wouldn't be fair to let the campaign finance case go first.
Instead, prosecutions should be prioritized by severity of crime and by who has the strongest case. The most severe crime with the best evidence goes first.

Ugh. What a terrible song.
Awesome, thanks for the reply!
Your warmup should always include some body weight or lightweight mobility based movements....goblet squats, rotational lunges, etc.
After the first 6mo novice linear progression you should settle in on a program focused on strength and power, lifting in the 3-5 rep range....similar in concept to 5/3/1 where you are warming up and ramping up to a final max set in that 3-5 rep range...maybe as heavy as a double, but there’s no reason to try going for a heavy max single. As for power exercises I would stick with the hang clean vs a full power clean and keep the weight light and the movement explosive. For plyos I would stick with single leg variations like split jumps on the ground or onto a box. You could even go old school and do short bounds up a hill....the original hill training.

Actually I've mostly been doing 5 sets of 5 with high weight since I don't wanna put on too much mass since that'd be bad for running. It's paid off well so far but I'm definitely at a plateau where I'll have to put on more weight if I want to get stronger. Unfortunately I don't have access to bouncy weights at my gym or I'd be all about power cleans and full body movement lifts like that. I did start doing dead-lifts through with emphasis on explosiveness on the final phase of the lift where you're supposed to use your hamstrings the most. I like your main thesis though which seems like just keep it simple. Kinda like running! I do like watching the body builders do the most ridiculous squat or chest press variations I've seen. I saw one guy lay on his back on the ground and leg press a bar on a Smith machine lol

We already know that. You wouldn't have even responded if you felt even the tiniest bit secure.

You are seriously the biggest a-hole on this thread.
Congratulations!

Comey:
" I don't recall"- 8 times
" I don't remember"- 71 times
"I don't know"- 166 times
And he said he didn't know that Christopher Steele was passing information to Bruce Ohr- who was giving it to the FBI. How convenient that Comey has no memory while under oath, but recalls every detail while he wrote that book.

Wow. Thanks for the link. What a useful and (dare I say) nuanced examination of the current situation. The whole thing is a good (quick) read, but I especially noticed this:
"Notably: prosecutors have given Pecker and another American Media executive, Dylan Howard, immunity from prosecution. Do you think prosecutors did that to tighten up the case against Cohen? I don’t." [emphasis mine]
leave it to moran trump not to have a new chief of staff in place before he announces the departure of the old one.
