I haven't read much on the details of them but the Menendez thing seems shady.

Gillum is not under FBI investigation.

There has been an investigation with some things that happened in Tallahassee but not linked to Gillum himself.

Even after the #metoo movement targeted him, his favorable rating among Dems was 76%. You may not have been proud of him, but you would have elected him to a third term, if possible. And still love him.
