I honestly don't want to believe the Washington Post story. I don't want it to be true.
McMaster read a short, carefully-worded statement. The statement did not deny the details of the WaPo report, but said the story "as reported is false". So what does does the story get wrong and what does it get right?
But McMaster refused to take questions after reading his statement.
The mere presence of McMaster as spokesperson will be enough for many to conclude that the story is completely bogus.
I'll wait and see. I hope Trump didn't do this.
Remember, it's not Trump's or his admin's incompetence or ill intentions that are ever a problem, it's the media!!! They are focusing too much on these non-issues, they should be like, praising him on a daily basis for being a God and having beat Hillary. I admit I thought I'd be in for 4-8 years of very annoying politics and news, but this is just getting better and better. It's truly awesome to watch Trump and his clown car passengers scramble every time they fvck up and we hear about it. It's like they never thought they'd have to explain any of their bad moves to anyone. If you are a public servant you have to be held accountable, by your peers, citizens, the media and any other stakeholder. Trump doesn't want any transparency, must be great to just think and act like a dictator... obviously he still doesn't understand what his job is all about.
