As Graham has gotten older he has, like Trump, become more unhinged. He is losing the carefully constructed papier-mache facade he built around himself.

being closeted can produce all kinds of bizarre behavior, esp in late middle age when you feel the doors slamming shut. This guy is realizing he will never have a committed relationship - that he will die alone. But if he admits he is gay he will be destroyed. That kind of cognitive dissonance will screw up anyone.
Either that or he is being blackmailed by someone who found out about a cabana boy or something like that.

I don’t think it’s age. Trump making it to the WH and being able to continue to be himself - a low-IQ dumb unethical blowhard has opened up the possibilities to all who are power-hungry. People like Graham don’t think of themselves as public serveants but as above others and deserving of power. At heart, they always wanted to be authoritarian figures or even dictators, and now they can visualize it. They see that the highest office in the land can be trashed to their advantage and doesn’t have the chains or controls they thought it did.

It is really a shame to see how far Graham has fallen. Many on the left, including those on the FAR left have long thought of Lindsey as a reasonable voice on the right. He has shot that all to hell for sure cozying up to Trump like he has, especially after saying very negative things about him before Trump was elected (Paul Ryan is in that boat too).
Regarding Graham being gay, I'm not so sure. He definitely has some effeminate qualities about him, and obviously he has no sexual relationship with a woman that we know about, but he has long denied that he is gay. He very well could be asexual or at the very least a gay man who doesn't act on homosexual feelings for whatever reason. Kind of hard to keep that a secret as long as he has if he's actually gay. I'm not saying for sure one way or the other, but there are asexual people among us, and he could be one.
Haley is clearly looking down the road and not wanting to be connected to Trump when he asks his people to defend him against charges of tax evasion, bank fraud, collusion, conspiracy against the USA, etc.
Girl's got to defend her reputation.
I think the Repubs don't quite understand that when the Dems get the House they will investigate, doing congress' job as a co-equal power. It's going to be rough going for those connected to trump. She wants out now, before congress can start subpoenaing her.

I agree that she is looking down the road. Word is that she is in some significant debt, so she may want to go make some bank for a while and either wait for 2024 to run for President, or if Trump decides not to run in 2020 or he is prohibited from running in 2020, then run then. Time will tell.
She may have also been the author of the resistance in the Trump WH Op-Ed.

Graham is preparing to take Sessions' seat on Team Trump.
Is there anybody here who knows Lindsey Graham really well and has followed his career closely?
I've been wondering a lot about the 180 Graham has done on Trump.
Do you think that Lindsey Graham is now a Trump true believer?
Or is he angling to get the Attorney General job so he can do the bidding of his late friend John McCain?
Will Attorney General Graham screw Trump over?
Graham seems to want the AG job. Sessions days are numbered, I fully expect him to resign/be fired after the midterms. As for Haley, a Senate seat is possible down the road.
As for Trump not running in 2020, this is pure liberal derangement. Trump loves the job, will nominate more to the Supreme Court and will make liberal heads explode for another 6+ years.

I am astonished Flagpole didn’t work in the Devil’s Triangle into his analysis.
That's it, Dr Pole. I am adding a new term to the LR lexicon!
"Clownpolian Classic"- when our "hero" makes an analysis that completely fails all logic.
Add this to Flagpolian Flop, Mueller never, Clownpole (forever), Flagpoling, and to Flagpole.

I guess he finally realizes the Russia thing is going to go south. Now Flagpole has resorted to analyzing someone’s sexuality. He will find something new to complain and hammer how right he is shortly.
It was ridiculously funny when I read it, and he is serious. Flagpole goes full Dr. Ruth.
A few controversial paid speeches will wipe her debt away... or will trigger more unnecessary shopping.

Come on, if Rigged wrote something similar about Schumer you would have gone ballistic, yet here you act as if it isn’t weird.
