Fair point. The Dems might not win back control of the House and Trump could win in 2020. Never underestimate the idiocy of Trump’s base. Trumpers gonna Trump as the saying goes....

“The issues in the bigger picture concern a Democratic Party driven by immense bad faith to any means that justify the defeat of this Supreme Court nominee for reasons that everyone over nine-years-old understands: the fear that a majority conservative court will overturn Roe v. Wade - despite Judge Kavanaugh’s statement many times that it is “settled law.”
What one senses beyond that, though, is the malign spirit of the party’s last candidate for president in the 2016 election and a desperate crusade to continue litigating that outcome until the magic moment when a “blue tide” of midterm election victories seals the ultimate victory over the detested alien in the White House.”

Alan, first of all—thank you for your service. Second, it seems we pretty much agree. I still think—despite today’s developments—that Kav the creep will be confirmed to the SCOTUS, unfortunate as that may be. We shall see though. I hope I am wrong.
Lawsuit alleging Trump’s private business is violating the Constitution can proceed, federal judge rules
Sure hope this doesn’t lead to extreme emotional trauma. Shelter in your safe space. It will be fine.

No, not all. This is what no one on the left cared about before but now they do. Watch the responses to this as they make excuse after excuse. Liberals rarely tell the truth about both sides, aka never.

Greatest news ever.
Take that you rape apologist right wing pieces of trash
The FBI investigation isn’t going to sway public opinion....unless they find out all of the accusers were paid for their accusations. Even then, BK comes off as a slime ball. An Ivy Leaguer who doesn’t have to play by the normal societal rules, who was very like just a young dumb drunken slime ball who probably did things he can’t fully remember.
Accusations of sexual assault have taken on a life of their own. I really don’t think what BK did in his 20s should affect his appointment to the SCOTUS. The problem is that the SCOTUS has moved from a non-partisan institution to a partisan food fight. Because of that the GOP would be well served to leave this guy be. I don’t think they want to tick off 51% of the population. In polls I’ve seen around 50% of Republican women do not support Kavanaugh. Confirming an accused rapist will make for quite the campaign ad by any opposition over the next 2-4yrs....

It is pretty sad if SCOTUS appointments become based on political polls.

Something to watch out for is Trump declaring the certain FBI investigation documents are classified, cannot be seen by anyone, and cannot be looked at or used by the Senate. This is why Trump and McConnell were so smug agreeing to and FBI "investigation." They know they can bias it by Trump classifying the parts they don't like.
