While I understand the sentiment regarding "within 365 days of the next election nobody gets confirmed", I think that you are missing one key fact that changes everything. The GOP will control the Senate at least until January of 2021. As a result the McConnell rule to avoid seating a new SCOTUS justice with an election "pending" simply will not apply.
If RGB dies before November, 2020 then she will be replaced by a GOP appointee.
