Graham and Trump are buddies now. Graham is definitely expecting something for his relentless loyalty. He will either be a VP pick if things sour with Pence or AG as you mentioned. Total sellout.
Serious question: Do you think that there are any politicians (and yes, Trump is a politician) in the House, Senate or POTUS who would not sell their own soul for reelection/coveted appointment/power?
I will have an answer soon. The republicans that are on the fence for this vote, if they vote Yes then the conclusive answer is there is no REPUBLICAN politician who wouldn’t sell their own soul. I can’t say that about the Dems. When faced with many of their ideological contradictions they tend to fold and do the right thing. You just don’t see that from the GOP anymore, they have totally derailed.
And you have....nothing intelligent to post

It sure about the Dow thread, but at least on this one you haven’t posted a single intelligent thing.

Funny you say that when Senator Feinstein held the information for a last minute drop. The conclusive answer is there is no DEMOCRAT politician who wouldn’t sell their own soul. I can’t say that about the Repubs.

In regards to DGTD, I am one of the two or three people that actually have any experience in the industry. It appears your posts here lack a depth of thought so your comment is what I would expect.

Incorrect, old man. She provided the information to the FBI. They sat on it. Then the FBI provided the information to Trump's people. Trump's get redacted AND unreacted versions of the original letter.
Trump then forwarded the redacted version of the letter to GOPers on the judiciary committee. And hours before her name was released to the public--even the judiciary committee did not know--, Kavanugh's pal, the disgraced Trump political operative of the idiotic doppelganger claim, and an adviser to Kavanaugh to get him through the SCOTUS process, was nosing into Ford's private life. So, who do you think told BK's pal the name to go chase after? One Donald J Trump.

So I see four possibilities:
1) Dr. Ford is a very, very good liar.
2) Judge Kavanaugh is a very, very good liar.
3) Dr. Ford was attacked, but it was mistaken identity.
4) Judge Kavanaugh got drunk and attacked Dr. Ford, but forgot about it.
The whole incident apparently lasted just a few minutes. Kavanaugh was drunk and probably thought nothing of it afterward. But the incident stuck with Dr. Ford for the rest of her life.
I think the most likely truth is #4.
How do you reconcile that he would not want an FBI investigation to go clear his "good name"? He ran away from that question like the plague. He's guilty of something whether it's Dr. Ford or Avenatti's client...something.
That would be consistent with #4. He doesn't remember the specific incident but he knows that he and Mark Judge would get drunk and wild. He doesn't want more of that to come out in an FBI investigation.
I think the whole attack probably lasted 3 or 4 minutes. Kav and Judge don't remember it because they were drunk and it wasn't a memorable event to them.

Read this part slowly..."after the House has impeached him..."
Good lord.
Better watch it there Flagpole. That is taking the lord's name in vain. Fat Hurts might be getting his panties all bunched up.
Well, he said the Lord is Good. :-)

It was likely not their only attack of that week. Their error was that she was not drunk enough, but they though she was small enough for two sports team men to easily overpower.

Ok. So, you think that Kavanaugh got drunk and doesn't remember, but he KNOWS that sometimes he would get drunk and not remember? If that's what you mean, that's possible. That then means he just lied at the hearing.

I don’t have to try anything since the facts support Kavanaugh. Robespierre justice is all you got. As Senator Graham said “all you want is power, and God I hope you never get it.”
Wait, so Ford did not testify today?

Anyone who watched the hearings today and still thinks BK is cleared for a vote is politicized beyond saving. This would be the first time in history that the majority is refusing an FBI investigation request when new allegations emerge before a vote. Trumpers and Senate Republicans are somehow trying to justify screwing Ford out of any form of justice simply because Dems are playing political games. It doesn’t matter how sneaky and conniving either side may have been, a serious allegation from a credible person who had the guts to openly speak about it deserves further investigation. The trumper BK stood there like a completely biased politician and told the committee an FBI investigation is worthless and that this is all happening because of Clintons’ revenge. The main witness his buddy Judge is hiding out and was not even called in. What a racket.

I'm saying that the fact he doesn't remember is because, to him, it was no big deal. He didn't remember because, to him, it wasn't important. His drunkenness was only a contributing factor to his lack of memories of the attack.
But to your point, it's pretty obvious that Judge Kavanaugh wasn't as forthcoming as Dr. Ford.
Anyone who saw the full hearing could plainly see which witness was truthful, honest, and of the highest character. That witness was Dr. Ford.
Brett Kavanaugh simply does not have the high character required of a Supreme Court Justice.
Anyone who has Dr. Ford as a professor is a very lucky student. She is just an amazing person.
Fallout so far: * The magazine of the Jesuit religious order in the United States has withdrawn its endorsement of Judge Kavanaugh. * The American Bar Association has now called for an FBI investigation before voting on Judge Kavanaugh. The ABA stance is very significant. The ABA is always closely consulted on Supreme Court nominees and is considered to be staunchly non-partisan. Now they are pleading with the Republicans to take the time to get this done right.
“Each appointment to our nation’s Highest Court (as with all others) is simply too important to rush to a vote,” ABA President Robert Carlson wrote in the letter. “Deciding to proceed without conducting additional investigation would not only have a lasting impact on the Senate’s reputation, but it will also negatively affect the great trust necessary for the American people to have in the Supreme Court.”
