Based on recent statements it appears that the trump administration is the first to use NDAs with staff. I’m curious why trump feels that is necessary. Have there been issues with past administrations that trump wants to avoid? Supposedly security clearances cover what you can and cannot divulge. Sounds like there are agreements signed specific to classified information in some cases? Even with the stuff former staff have said it doesn’t seem a NDAs were needed?
Not a trump supporter.
It’s pretty common in the corporate world to have NDAs for Sr VP and C-levels. Perhaps this is what Trump was used to and wanted to bring it to WH.
In that case Trump would be the one signing an NDA. In the corporate world Sr VP and C-level do not create their own NDAs, to protect themselves, and force their staff to sign them. Corporate management does not get to create their own get out of jail free cards.
