Interesting.
1) Mueller is coming...for sure. You are right about that.
2) You are under the assumption that when Mueller releases this report about Trump and his crimes that many Republicans will not vote to convict. I disagree. The evidence will be damning and the crimes serious. Any Senator who looks at charges that include Obstruction of Justice and Conspiracy to Defraud the United States of America and decides that's not worthy of removing from office needs to be removed themselves. Seriously, why have laws at all if we allow them to be broken with no consequence? I do not believe that will happen.
3) Democrats will take the House for sure in November. For sure.
4) Democrats will probably NOT take the Senate, but again, they don't need to in order to still have enough votes to remove a criminal president. They need 67 anyway, so just taking the Senate wouldn't do it.
5) The "major setback in Ohio" is not even close to that. This is a very conservative district that Trump won by 11 points, and this particular race is still so close it hasn't been called yet. Balderson (the Republican) will likely win the seat, but this is bad news for other Congressional districts nationwide that Trump won by smaller margins.
6) Fewer and fewer people identify as "Republican" voters, and most of those are Trump supporters. The percentage of people who identify as Republican has dropped since Trump has been in office. His high percentage of approval from those remaining isn't enough.
7) Trump will likely have to resign. Mueller can force that by telling Trump he will indict him after he is out of office and then give him a plea deal that takes that away if he resigns. Probably won't play out like that though. I believe the crimes and the evidence will be so damning that only the most die hard Trumpers in the Senate will continue to support him. The votes will be there. He will be convicted and removed or he will resign.
8) If Trump somehow made it to the end of this first term, he would be a fool to take on another term. He is SO criminal, SO undisciplined, that he will likely do something else in another 4 year period of time that would put him on the hot seat again. He is a bad bad guy with no respect for the rule of law at all. He's not even 2 years in yet, and Mueller has only been on the case for just over a year at this point. No WAY he could last a total of 8 years as President.
You don't do much to help by voting for people like Johnson. What we have now is a bear in the house. He's attacking you, and you need to break your grandmother's antique lamp over its head to get it to leave. Who is better than Trump? Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone who could win that is, and today in 2018 and more importantly 2020, that is a Democrat who runs against him...not a third-party candidate.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.
