Yawn...mornin’ Ivan. Don’t you think it’s a little early for whataboutism type arguments. How much does the FSB pay you to troll? Or are you on the GRUs payroll? Regardless it must suck to have such an affinity for a pathetic a$$ backwards third world country like the New Soviet Union (aka the Russian Federation). BTW, what the hell makes you guys think your idiotic way of running your country will work now when it didn’t work before?
Deer Bad Wiggins,
Please share with us your thoughts on the recent Trump-Putin summit.

Good morning! How are all you LRC stable geniuses doing this fine AM?
Masterful performance by Putin yesterday. Putin's the guy Trump wishes he could be. Putin's refusal to deny the existence of "kompromat" sent a loud and clear message - stay in line, Donnie, or we'll do to you what we did to Hillary.

Let's not forget that the intelligence agencies that Trump ripped just tried to undermine his negotiations with Putin by choosing to indict 12 Russians just before the meeting. If the FBI and DOJ want to be taken seriously, then they shouldn't engage in petty partisan politics like that, especially when serious issues are on the table. If there's treason in any of this, I'd start by investigating Rosenstein's motives.
I'll agree that the timing of the indictment was probably intentional.
But it was not political. It was patriotic.
1) Trump was given a full week of notice before the indictment was made public. The indictment contained important information that any normal president would want to have before going into a meeting with Putin.
2) If Mueller had sat on the indictment until after the Putin meeting, he would be helping the Russians. The American people needed to know the critical information in the indictment in order to hold Russia's government accountable on the world stage.
Mueller worked in the interest of the presidency, the American people, and American democracy. Trump is working for Russia.

The President should of just acknowledged and pressed Putin on it I’ll admit but Republican leaders aren’t going anywhere. He had 91% support before this day. They might be annoyed but two Supreme Court picks, tax cut, isis diminished, etc etc etc. They will be back.
Speaking of which, Trump's Helsinki performance makes the Kavanaugh confirmation a bit tougher. Trump just made it a little easier for Murkowski and Collins to vote against him.
No, he won't. Best to you all!

Like tariffs? Like price controls? Like trade wars? I could go on.
Like Obama perhaps?
Trump is a traitor.
Trump is a criminal.
No one with a straight face can say resistance to Trump is about wanting to overturn an election. He just sided with a cruel dictator over the US.
Trumpers, you are in a coffee factory...take a breath in through your noses.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

That's quite a big topic and not really relevant here. I suspect that in some way you want to justify Trump's outrageous behavior based on what I might say on Capitalism. Seems odd. You need to ask yourself why you continue to support such a crooked traitor.
We are dealing with a criminal traitor President who just did about the most egregious thing an American President could do...side with a murderous dictator over US intelligence.
Insanity.
Ok Trumpers...has Trump done enough yet to make you turn against him? Did his performance in Helsinki at least give you pause?
Ready to admit yet that you elected a bad, bad guy? It is ok to not WANT it to be true, but you know deep down that it is. Come on, admit it. It will do your soul good.
Whataboutism will not work. You can not pull up a relevant politician in recent memory who is equivalent. What Trump did in Helsinki is not short of treasonous.
So, if you don't believe any of the other things said about him...that he's a huge criminal, that he colluded with Russia, etc., you now have an action by him during his Presidency which has NOTHING to do with Hillary Clinton that you should be able to look down your nose at.
Ready to stop your support? You should.
You elected a disaster of a President. Admit it.
So we had Trump completely caving to Putin and everyone agreeing except Hannity and other trumpers. His actions mean that A) he can't control his admiration for dictators, even publicly, B) he has very strong reasons for not wanting to stand up to him, given all the backlash he knew there would be, even from his party; and C) he is absolutely scared of Mueller and so desperate to counter what is to come that he basically asked the enemy for help.
Even my long time trumper friend called to say he was baffled. There is no way to interpret his actions as constructive or some kind of chess move. He was simply owned. The volume of whataboutisms is about to increase significantly - trumpers have nothing to hang on to.

You need to learn to focus on Trump's actions, not his words. His actions speak louder than his words: I give the Helsinki story another 24-48 hours before it's gone.
Trump attacked Russia's allies in Syria by launching Tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria to destroy Russian assets. Trump called out Germany for their Russian pipeline, wants to cut off Billions to Russia. He's gave weapons to Ukraine, which Russia attacks all the time. Trump will talk kindly about Putin in public but he's actually undermining him at the same time. This is exactly the same scenario when Michael said in Godfather II: “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”
Mueller never

M-A-G-A!!!
Ugh! I tried to watch Chris Wallace's interview with Putin and it started with a good question about how the summit improved relations, but the next question was about the indictment of 12 Russians on election meddling. Wallace read out some of the details and then tried to hand the documentation to Putin. Putin laughed and refused to take it. I couldn't watch anymore of it.
Whining about election meddling makes us look sooooo weak. Its absolutely humiliating as an American to watch our media b!tching to Putin about tweaking America during an election, when it was our (Democrat) cyber security laziness that left us open to hacks. It's like we left our lunch money on the desk every day, and now we're complaining to the bully that he kept taking it. This whining is guaranteeing that we'll see a lot more of it in the future. Our media is damaging our position in the world. This is not the behavior of a super-power. Hopefully Trump made up for it in the closed door session.

Trump occupies so much real estate in your head he should put another golf course in there. he he he.
You are an idiot! It's the media's fault? Current POTUS is snuggled up with the shadiest dictator on the planet and you are blaming MSM?
