This is the kind of corrupt stuff trumpers can’t escape having to defend. This kind of news doesnt make it into Gary’s rate maze though does it? It’s an open acceptance at this point of a criminal POTUS. A quick digging into any part of Trump’s affairs will yield these kinds of dealings. But as long as he sticks to libs and our “globalist” allies he can commit any crime he likes.

“Several pages of the document focus on a charity fundraiser for veterans in Iowa in January 2016, which Mr Trump chose to hold instead of taking part in a TV debate with other Republican presidential hopefuls ahead of the influential state's caucuses.
More than $2.8m was donated to the Trump Foundation at that event. The petition alleges that those funds raised from the public were used to promote Mr Trump's campaign for the presidency, in particular in the Iowa nominating caucuses.
The lawsuit also claims that the foundation paid $100,000 (£75,000) to settle legal claims against Mr Trump's Mar-A-Lago resort, $158,000 to settle claims against one of his golf clubs, and $10,000 to purchase a painting of Mr Trump to hang at another of his golf clubs.
The purchase of the painting was an example of one of "at least five self-dealing transactions" which violate tax regulations on non-profit charities, the statement said.”
Any trumpers want to comment first? I remember that veteran’s event really well. So it looks like those millions donated were funneled right into his campaign, all clearly approved by Trump according to the documents.
Ok, I’m going to admit it. I really miss Obama.
Where’s did the dignity go?
So, I am away on vacation and the silliness continues to come from DG and Rigged despite ever-increasing evidence of crookedness from Trump and his family.

meh
they'll not even try to defend it. They don't care about this stuff. They see Trump as above the law and not subject to the kinds of petty "rules" and "standards" and "laws" that others are. He has achieved a new kind of humanity - an uberputz if you will.
Agip / "Eric Blair"- I was alerted by a friend that you've returned to the boards. It's actually nice to see, because it brings us back to the run-up to the 2016 election, where both you and Flagpole were epicly wrong. With your posts being relatively free of substance or originality, it's nothing of consequence to have you here or not. Both of you "disappeared" for a while to deal with your disappointment, but then returned to try to salvage pieces of your own self worth.
Since you're attempting a comeback here, I assume you'll be cool with being added to Flagpole's Flagpole (being epicly wrong) streak, which is fast approaching 2.5 years. You were on roughly the same time table with regard to posting such confident predictions and comments (though yours were certainly more less bold than Clownpole's), so I think it's appropriate here.
Can everyone on the Left to bring themselves to admit that everything those of us on the Right had been saying regarding the Brennan - Clapper - Comey - McCabe - Strzok - Page - Lynch conspiracy was absolutely true, and that Fox News was on the ball for months prior to yesterday's revelation. I have a co-worker living in the Liberal bubble that didn't know about Strzko's "insurance policy" texts! How can we operate as a democracy when the MSM doesn't tell people facts like this, and just speculates about possible collusion (still zero indictments relating to that accusation, by the way).
To deny that these prominent folks- who held considerable power with their respective positions in the intelligence community- were and are still pro-actively trying to defeat Donald Trump is being dishonest. You know it. We know it. Just come clean and admit that they were doing bad things to help Hillary (not being indicted) and hurt Trump ("colllluuuuusion").

^FAKE CLAIM.
Hillary sat for hours and hours being grilled by republicans. An 11-hour long grilling was the longest.
Hillary destroyed hard drives, smashed cell phones, and BleachBit her server.
She did not cooperate.

Clearly the Founding Fathers overestimated the collective intelligence of the American electorate.
Just the opposite. They understood very well human failings and designed a system to moderate them. A government consisting of three separate and equal institutions. A rules-making system divided into three equal parts that must agree. A theoretically independent law enforcement system. Independent government workers whose oath is to the Constitution, not a President.
That decades of effort to weaken all of that is finally obvious to all, hopefully, will result in some changes.

you seem unaware that the report found no biased acts whatsoever. Zero. Zilch. That Comey's inappropriate acts HELPED TRUMP, not HRC.
But carry on - facts aren't your thing. Understood.

Using Trump logic, that was so long ago it's irrelevant. Unimportant. Join us in 2018.
From the report:
"These text messages included political opinions about candidates and issues involved in the 2016 presidential election, including statements of hostility toward then-candidate Trump and statements of support for candidate Clinton. Several of their text messages also appeared to mix political opinions with discussions about the Midyear [Clinton email] and Russia investigations, raising a question as to whether Strzok’s and Page’s political opinions may have affected investigative decisions."

Did the report actually say that Comey helped Trump?

Or the ones who work at Trump's properties. Or Melania's parents who Trump cut a break for.
So the FBI lead investigator Strzok did the following:
1. Leading up to the election he had a text converation:
“[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page texted Strzok.
“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok responded.
2. That last part "We'll stop it." was hidden from Congress until this report came out.
3. Strzok was the lead investigator on Hillary's email probe.
4. He was the one who told Comey to change the wording from "gross negligence" to "extreme carelessness", because gross negligence would have been a crime.
5. He was the one who made the decision to de-emphasize Hillary's investigations, and move the focus to Trump.
6. He still works at the FBI.
Gowdy has already pointed out how Hillary was treated with kid gloves, while Trump has been treated very harshly by the FBI.
We can now conclude that the FBI is corrupt, that they worked to exonerate Hillary while working as hard as they could to tarnish Trump's reputation, with the explicit intention of changing the results of the election. This is banana republic stuff. The FBI is a danger to the people and to our democracy. That whole place needs to be cleaned out. The IG report has already called out at least 5 FBI agents for some kind of discipline (bias training? give me a break!) but that's not enough. It appears that we can not trust Democrats working at the FBI because they think they can use their position to decide elections. This is the worst kind of government corruption possible.
If I were in charge, any FBI agent who made donations to or publicly expressed support for a Democrat would be fired. This is the logical course of action. It would clean up the FBI, restore the public's faith in what has become a dangerously corrupt cesspool of liberal activists, and would send a clear message to any remaining agents that if you let your politics influence the way you wield the obscene amount of power you have been granted, then you will pay the price.
The Mueller investigation should be ended as well because it's all part of this corrupt process.
Of course none of this will happen, because Democrats run Washington. The swamp will not clean up the swamp.

LOL ... Comey said Clinton was being re-investigated days before the election. Comey kept his mouth shut about the continuing investigation into Trump before the election. ...

Do you understand the report was reviewed, authorized and approved by Trump lapdog Jeff Sessions.
