seriously though - no Manchurian candidate could be more effective than Donny Trump at breaking up post WW2 alliances and weakening the US' position in the world. Militarily, economically, morally. Donny is piece by piece dismantling the world order that made the US the richest nation ever to have existed and placed the US at world leadership.
He's not technically a traitor because he's acting legally. but hard to believe an actual traitor could be more effective.

Your last comment highlights perfectly why you aren't capable or worthy of rational dialogue. You actually think you are being funny and clever. You know what is funny though, your recurring trumper tantrums. You should stick to living in November 2016 for as long as possible - living in the present might lead to severe depression.
When you are unable to refute facts or participate in a rational discussion, you just attack posters or say Trump is “orange” or a “clown.”
This is becoming more and more personal for you.
This is exactly why I call trumpers simpletons - they believe trump when he says it’s all so easy to fix, and when he can’t fix it they believe him when he says the deep state is preventing change.

Wrong! Let's see, Obama traded Taliban 5 top commanders for Bergdahl & gave pallets full of cash to Tehran. Trump is on the brink to getting NK to denuclearization and a possible treaty- which will make the world a safer.

"agip" is a good handle. Glad to see a rational thinker is using it.
Democrats lose again

Trump is holding the key to the US Bank vault. The G7 'business as usual' model by taking advantage of "the world's piggy bank that everybody is robbing" days are over.
It looks like you have examined proof that the US finances other economies and gets very little back relative to what we give - yes, a zero sum global economy with our slice of the GDP pie ever decreasing. Please share this proof from economic experts with us, we would all love to see the light like you and stand up to the deep state and evil globalist regimes.

Please don’t start making your way around the track for another victory lap until he actually accomplishes something. Yelling on twitter, booking a meeting with Kim, and bringing his friends Hannity and Rodman to stay in fancy hotels at a summit is very easy, but getting Kim to actually shut down his missile program without bending over for him is a completely different ballgame. I’m preparing for you to claim victory when Kim gives him his word that he’s going to stop and Trump sends billions in aid. I hope he gets something done, but I’m not holding my breath.

I take that you want to return to the days when Obama was bending over and allowing other countries having their way with us. No thanks.

Obama’s record on the economy speaks for itself. Your empty statement is meaningless without support. Again, where is your proof of all this losing for so many decades? We would all love to see it and get with the program.
So what is expected from this meeting with the Koreans?

How about we go back to the days of not accusing our allies of made up trade deficits and holding China and Russia responsible for the humanitarian sh*tshow they create everywhere they go?

For Trump: A handshake photo to post on twitter and claim victory
For Kim: showing China NK can pull away from their sphere of influence - gives them more bargaining power.
Other than that, no meaningful change. Sounds like a great deal for us, we get nothing in exchange for NK getting more bargaining power.

Less than a 3% annual GDP growth rate. the worst ever for a peace-time president. Hang your hat on that.

Making NK great.
Trump will once again found to be the clueless idiot he is. There is a special place in Trump's heart for fascists and run-of-the-mill dictators. NK will not give up a single nuke 12+ months from now. Why would the regime want to end itself like Libya?
But, Trump will have a new BFF!
L L wrote:

my guess is that the big headline will be a formal end to the Korean War and some promise from NK. In response we will lessen some sanction or send a billion tons of rice. Maybe set up some kind of observation program.
The problem, of course, is that NK can't trust the president of the US - no one can. So I'm not sure why they would agree to anything that they don't want to do.

And the answer is to slow economic activity with tariffs? Please explain how this works. What is this magical trade mechanism that defies the long history of the consequences trade wars?
Congress is responsible for fiscal and economic policy. You should probably complete a high school civics class.

NK will likely get lowered sanctions today for continued development of long range nukes tomorrow. The Trump/Pompeo brain trust will see this as a big win.

We'll Trump scored a big victory with NK when Democrats start giving credit to Obama.
