Now we have information that huge sums of money were taken in by Michael Cohen through his LLC, Essential Consulting. This is the same LLC that paid Stormy Daniels. Massive payments were made by AT&T, Novartis, and, get this, the Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg. These payments totaled at least $4.4 million. The entities who paid Cohen had important matters to be decided by the Trump administration. The only question now is, "Where did the money go?" If it went to Trump or the Trump Organization, he might be impeached much sooner than we thought. I really thought that this whole thing wouldn't be wrapped up until well into 2019. But this looks like a case of bribery. If it can be shown conclusively that Trump took bribes then the clown is going to be done really, really soon. I don't think even Republicans in congress will be able to protect the president. After all, this isn't just a case of "how do you interpret high crimes and misdemeanors?" This is potential bribery. And bribery is explicitly given as grounds for impeachment. To quote our beloved Constitution:
The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
