Caught a Rudy Giuliani interview on ABC this morning. The man is unhinged. Whatever his role is, he's clearly making things worse. Sad how far he's fallen.

Trump and Giuliani deserve each other. They are both dotards, and have been for many years.

Agree, agree, and agree. It is *not* clear that Democrats are going to take the House this fall; even if they do, it's not clear that we have yet seen enough to start the impeachment wheels in motion.
It's definitely in the realm of possibility :

Democrats WILL take over the House. Senate is still up in the air.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

The timeline of how this all plays out will likely be longer than either side cares to stomach and could spill over past even the 2020 election. Clinton’s investigation took 4 years.

And regarding impeachment, be careful what you wish for. Fun fact: During Clinton's impeachment/acquittal process, his approval rating jumped up bigly. Impeach Trump in late 2019/early 2020, and it could be the boost that gets him re-elected (though he has a good shot at that anyway).

Trump needs to get his aggregate approval rating above 45% to have a prayer in 2020.
If the economy is still buzzing along and the Dems roll out some meh candidate then it’s a stronger possibility he’s elected. If Grandpa Joe runs then Trumps loses bigly.
Clinton’s investigation ended up as a nothingburger. He lied about having an affair....that’s all they could prove.
If all they can prove against Trump is he paid off Stormy with campaign funds, then it’s also a nothing burger.

The Clinton investigation probably negatively affected Gore’s chances by association.
I find it interesting that the last two Republican presidents won the election without winning the popular vote.....and Clinton never won over 50% of the vote....

That has to do with the antiquated Electoral College (EC), and gerrymandering. The president should be elected by popular vote rather the the EC. The reason being that the EC is essentially the voting method used for the House of Representatives. So,
House of Representatives elected at the local level.
Senators elected at the state level.
President elected at the national level.

Not probably...did. That's part of the 13 Keys.

1. it's been suggested part of the problem was a weak VP choice by Gore.
2. I'm not going to open the can of worms that was Bush/Gore conclusion, but some argue Gore probably won, but capitulated. I don't really care as it is ancient history.

Bzzzt! If you were to argue more transparency in the electoral college, I'd totally agree.
World history makes it clear that true democracies typically fail. The electoral college tempers the popular vote.

You are a moran. The group that screams, cries, whines, and bellows, "we're not them" are Trumptards like you.
The only "moran" around here is you for thinking I lean towards the extreme of either bunch of lunatics.

The EC tempers the popular vote by politicizing the election of the President. The presidential candidates focus on swing states to try to win. The Founding Fathers could not have envisioned anything like the internet, social media, and gerrymandering that result in the Electoral College being turned into a farce it is today. It is time for it to go.

I agree, though the presidential race has nothing to do with gerrymandering.
EC has to go. Unless you live in a purple state, your vote for president doesn't count.

So, your answer is, move to a true-er democracy which, ISN'T a long functioning form of governance.
Good job.

He claims to be impartial: hates dems and repubs. But he leans heavily towards Trump. In conclusion: he is a troll.

States elect governors without an electoral college. Seems to work just fine.
It seems like the reason the last round of lawyers were fired because they wouldn't do exactly what Trump wanted..
Giuliani's only purpose is to broadcast Trump's message despite the chaos and problems it might create.
Let's see how long Trump's luck hold out!
