Update from The Upside Down: An English Professor who works at Fresno State tweeted something mean about Barbara Bush from her private account. Judging from the scarf she is wearing her profile picture, it is possible that she has sympathy for Palestinians. The fine people who run Breitbart think this is news that deserves to lead the headlines. "Demented" doesn't even begin to describe this...
Good catch and yes that is demented

Irrespective of his military service, if in fact he did sign off on keeping 4 innocent men in prison, would you not want to know about that? And the Boston Globe, being the liberal bastion of the left leaning media in MA, seems to agree.
Sure, but the case presented by your source is pretty thin on evidence for conspiracy. The argument seems to be that Mueller as US Attorney argued against parole in 1986-7 while completely ignoring exculpatory evidence that probably wasn't available until to him until about 15 years later.

"Probably" is the operative word. What has been alleged is that this information was made known quite some time prior to that. Will be interesting to see what transpires, if anything. Maybe they will investigate for a year or so, find nothing.....then they can look for something else.

No wonder McConnell refuses to allow a vote on protecting Mueller from being fired by Trump. He knows it would pass, and McConnell's Russian donors would be bigly angry.
The Devos and Mercers would be bigly angry. Devos is so influential they bought a cabinet position for someone completely unqualified to manage an agency.
The changes to our campaign finance laws created an avenue for Russia to try to influence our elections. There are holes in our firewall and they aren't on the internet.
Right answer. The thing is, other Presidents kept the influence of their biggest donors out of site. I think the problem with Trump is he is incapable of doing anything but being obvious for whom (who??) he carries water.
Twitchy.... right
I guess that now, Hannity should be fired because he had dealings of some kind with an attorney whose office was raided, despite any evidence of wrongdoing by either. As at least one Democratic lawmaker has demanded. Guilt by association it appears, even though no ones been deemed guilty of anything. And I'm not a fan of Hannity by any stretch. The framers would be horrified by the level this country has sunk to since its founding.
Comey says he's no longer a Republican. What a shock. I suggest that you Democrats refuse to let him in. Comey is the kind of corrupt incompetent national embarrassment that people accuse Trump of being. Comey is the kind of government employee that we all thought existed while hoping we were wrong. Comey has proven that the highest levels of government are not populated by intelligent, reasonable, non-partisan servants, but instead are populated by low-life partisan hacks. Trump gets credit for flushing this out.

Fool, Ivanka is a lifelong Democrat. She is not a Republican regardless of who she voted for.
FYI: Comey is now an independent. He is not a Dem. He will go back to be a Republican after the Trumpers get their behinds kicked in November, and the Orange One gets shown the door into a padded cell.

https://twitchy.com/gregp-3534/2018/04/18/omg-the-case-of-unhinged-fresno-state-professor-randajarrar-just-got-a-whole-lot-worse/I doubt that the Globe actually got it wrong. Their reporting was probably mischaracterized. But all news organizations do get things wrong. The legit ones will admit it when they do.
Let me know if actual motions get filed. Until something like that happens, there will be no fallout because there is no story.
You were indifferent to Mueller, but you sure were hoping somebody would find something. You were hoping so hard that you jumped at this non-story. You have to learn how to distinguish fact from fiction and reality from hearsay.

So the framers would be horrified because some lawmaker somewhere said something stupid?
I don't think so; especially because you didn't name the lawmaker or exactly what was said. The framers were really smart guys. They would only be horrified by your lack of discernment and your inability to write coherently.

Why?
Pence is outrageously stupid, but Trump is stupid AND criminal. Pence would be laser-focused on an agenda whereas Trump is not, but Trump is threatening the rule of law in this country and our national security and our freedoms. Pence would not and could not do that.
I'd rather have a President who won't eat a meal alone with a woman who is not his wife than one who would grab that woman "by the p*ssy". And that's just a personality thing. Pence isn't a criminal unless he has allowed Trump to drag him down with him which is a possibility. Time will tell.

No mention of this on Breitbart. Weird.

When Comes got fired: Trump told NBC’s Lester Holt shortly after Comey was fired that the Russia investigation was central to his decision. Rosenstein “made a recommendation,” Trump said, “but regardless of recommendation I was going to fire Comey, knowing there was no good time to do it. ... this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story.”
Today's Tweet from Trump: Slippery James Comey, the worst FBI Director in history, was not fired because of the phony Russia investigation.
Yep...a ridiculous comment from him now, and it just shows his pattern of not telling the truth. I mean, he was peddling the notion that that wasn't really him on the Access Hollywood tape too. He will not admit to anything.
When the sh!t his the fan (and it will), I am going to cancel any meetings with clients for the day, have a couple brews and probably go get a Robert Mueller tattoo on my back. Can't decide yet if it will just be on my shoulder blade or full back.
Either this one:

http://www.slate.com/content/dam/slate/articles/news_and_politics/assessment/2017/05/170518_ASSESS_Mueller.jpg.CROP.promo-xlarge2.jpgI resisted getting inked when I was serving, but a Mueller tattoo is possibly in the cards.
The lawmaker (Gerry Connolly) didn't "demand" it. He just said Fox "should" fire him. Big difference between a demand and saying "I think he deserves to be fired".
Firing Hannity is not out of the question. What he has done is a clear violation of journalists not providing "full disclosure". Hannity says he is not a journalist, and I AGREE with that, but at the same time his show says "News" in it, and he claims often to have unnamed sources, so he likes to behave in part like he is a journalist. Even as a commentator, he should have revealed that he had a relationship with Cohen before defending him so and having him on his show 10+times.
Not sure if Hannity will be fired...we need more info more than likely or sponsors to start leaving in droves which I don't believe they will do just yet.
