The thread, accurately named at the time as, "Official LRC President Donald J Trump Inauguration Thread", has only been perpetuated by the opposition that is unable to deal with their own EPIC loss in November. Like any thread started to discuss an event regarding the POTUS, it turns into a forum for bashing/whining/crying/posting POTUS-related news that we can read elsewhere.

It should have been dead a couple days after the inauguration.

We're talking about NEW presidents here. EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT has a honeymoon period of high approval ratings for a few months. Not Trump. his ratigns were always low and have continued to fall. Worst ever for a new president.

Yes, the fact that Obama's overall average rating of just 47.9% (which is UNDER Dubya's average) doesn't matter, because Trump's is lower after 2 months. Hilarious how you take objective data and turn it into a subjective assessment- "NEW". Like "New" means anything. Grow up. Stop crying.

Trump comes into office against the fiercest opposition in history (the establishment/media industrial complex). As he ultimately gets a health care bill passed, gets Gorsuch confirmed, passes tax reform, and gets his infrastructure bill through (that will require major bipartisan support), his ratings will come up. And that 47.9% average of Obama's might just be in range.

And take a look at the lower graphs on this. They show that the average approval rating for presidents after 74 days is around 60%. Trump is at 39%.

And that is with the economy booming. Imagine how fast T's support will melt away during an economic downturn. Can you imagine that? It will be in the 20s.

But take a look at those graphs. If you have a shred of honesty you will agree that the Trump presidency is deeply unpopular and making history as such. And that the midterms next year are looking real good for the House to flip. A deeply unpopular president usually leads to the House flipping.

the redline was only sort of a mistake...in the end Syria gave up all or almost all of its gas weapons without a fight. That's a great result.

Although there was a gas attack today...not clear who is guilty of it.

1. Susan Rice kept entire spreadsheets on the Trump Campaign calls but now she "can't recall" anything specific she did...

2. Susan Rice says, "I have no knowledge of any Trump surveillance!," then when she gets caught, "I did not leak Trump surveillance!"
