Trump is essentially a third-party guy, and now we know what happens when a third-party outsider gets into DC. Both parties and the entire bureaucracy in DC conspire to throw him out of power..
Nope, flat out wrong, lazy simplistic assessment and silly correlation. Just what we expect from you.
Yes, he was an outsider candidate. Yes, in the past he's taken liberal and conservative sides on different issues. Yes, he made very many people in the Republican party not like him, or prefer other candidates. You can try to that say this was because he was a non-establishment or "3rd party" candidate or because he was not "toeing the party line on many issues" (untrue) but the real reason was a lot simpler: just about every person with an ounce of intelligence knew he was a dangerous, train-wreck of a personality/ person who is/was certainly unqualified to be president. I'll give the R's at least some credit for recognizing that. R's also knew that in the long run, he'd be terrible for their brand (and it's true, oh it's damn true).
All of the above is why he was/is disliked/not respected by so many who actually know him/work with/have seen him in action.
He has actually been a staunch conservative on many, many issues, right on down the line (social, financial, judicial). Oh sure, he pays lip-service to some left wing beliefs (health care for all, Iraq was a mistake) but he does little to act on these comments.
Now if he was bucking the R's on a number of issues, you'd have a point, but he isn't. And if he actually did poorly with some R's at the ballot box, or in polling, you might have another point. But he didn't/isn't.
And no one is, in the sense that you meant it, "conspiring" to get rid of him (It's allllways a conspiracy, isn't it?) In fact, 90% of R's in gov't have had his back completely. No, instead, some of the people in gov't and law enforcement/investigation who still have integrity (yes, believe it or not there are some) and want to do their job and patriotic duty correctly are toppling dominoes, in a proper and legal manner, that lead directly to The Don. Robert Mueller is the epitome of an unbiased investigator, no matter how much you deny it or how much considering that fact creates cognitive dissonance for you. He is doing his job in a manner that is 100% less "witch hunty" than how Ken Starr investigated the Clintons.
Trump's predicament is is of his own making, and has nothing if anything to do with him being a "3rd party" candidate.
