Well, as my parting comment given I have things to do, is that we can agree to disagree. But I still love you all the same.

Nope he is spot on. Although not well liked, she was going to be the status quo POTUS, which is 1,000X better than the useless body in the WH who is damaging our relationships with allies, embarrassing our country, isolating us economically, making important decisions on impulse, and not following through on most promises. I am not opposed to outsiders but I am opposed to immature low IQ candidates.
Why do you and other Trumpers feel a need to compare Trump to other people who did things that were wrong? I learned when I was a little kid that it was not an out to say "Johnny did it too!" You need to learn that this is a lame excuse and holds no water.
I will take one of your comments even further...it matters not to me about affairs one bit, whether they happened while the person was in office or not. The PROBLEM both for Clinton and Trump is the coverup. Clinton lied and was impeached. Trump not only has lied (not to a grand jury though) AND has perhaps broken campaign finance laws.
Make no mistake though, while the Stormy Daniels story could by itself spell the end of a president, Trump is involved in much worse things...obstruction of justice, money laundering, violation of the emoluments clause, and possibly conspiracy with Russia. He is also now possibly under threat of conspiracy with Michael Cohen.
He is a really really bad buy. You should not be defending him.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

I would suggest to you that nothings wrong. Clinton should in fact have been removed, but was not. He had his affair while he was in office and lied about his affair with ML.........while in office. BIG difference.
To play devil's advocater, Clinton lied under oath when asked about a non-criminal action. There is, on the other hand, a plausible case for campaign finance law violations in the Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal affairs and it's reasonable that Trump was personally involved. It's not really clear that the "BIG difference" works the way you suppose. I don't see either of these as being sufficient grounds for impeachment.
There is clear evidence for an knowing attempt to get damaging information from foreign actors on the parts of Trump Jr, Kushner, and Manafort. Proving subsequent collusion may be difficult. There are also indications that Mueller is pursuing knowing acceptance of foreign campaign moneys by the Trump campaign. These, if proven are likely impeachable if they were done with Trump's knowledge.
In any case I advocate transparency on these sorts of things regardless of the party involved.
Clinton should have been removed for lying, and in the eyes of millions of "moralists" he shouldn't have had the affairs. You are arguing that although Trump did the same thing, the timing of his actions (before he became POTUS) clears his character? You are also prematurely assuming he hasn't continued with any affairs or lying since he was elected. I think its pretty clear he is a chronic liar. As far as the affairs, we don't know but we do know he carves out plenty of time for golf and TV, so it is certainly a possibility. What about the nepotism? What about the shady characters close to him that have already been caught? What about the chronic lying? What about the childish insults and lack of empathy? You are trying to argue character equivalence and its not even close!
He has forgotten about the huge Clinton investigation. It's only fair to wait and see what this one produces. He wants to downplay it's scale and significance without knowing the conclusions.

Your analogy is back asswards. That being said, I'd rather have had someone in there with no political experience then someone as obviously politically corrupt and incompetent as HRC. I'd also add to your backwards analogy that HRC in the WH would also have been the equivalent of a colonoscopy and root canal, without anesthesia.

CORRECT! It is very possible that an outsider could come in and do an outstanding job, but Donald Trump has proven that he is not the one who can. I will also point out that I WISH the list of things you have there about Trump were the only things he was doing that are hurting us (none of them impeachable things), but on top of all of those things, he is a criminal and that will be found out.

RIP the criminal Cheeto.
Meanwhile, Paul Ryan has announced that he will not seek reelection.
It is unknown whether he will stay on as speaker through the midterm elections or step down in the next few weeks.

What do you think will happen with so many GOP incumbents retiring? Will the GOP candidates be those who fully embrace Trump's agenda? Do you think that will make them more or less likely to win in November?

That's a great question. God help us if congress gets filled with Trumpers who support authoritarianism.
The midterms could be super crazy if Mueller releases significant findings about the president between now and November.
An indictment would probably unleash utter chaos.

As would firing of the Asst AG and or special prosecutor and AG while the investigation is ongoing.
So best case is investigation continues through election. Otherwise either way we have a constitutional crisis and very uncertain outcome. If Rs hold house and senate we are in a mess either way next year. If Ds take one or the other then it'll still be a crisis but less so because trumper power will be checked for 2 years.

It will be interesting to see if Ryan becomes more openly critical of Trump now. It's been clear for a long time that he doesn't care for the administration.

He might but he is such a weasel that lacks any character or honor that he might not. History will judge Ryan harshly. Everyone knows he thinks Trump is a scumbag but he chose to suck up to Trump for political reasons rather than call Trump out. He also just screwed the entire country with his massive tax cut without coupling those to spending cuts. Budget wonk my a$$. He is a pathetic fraud.
To make it even better, they used a running analogy in his retirement announcement —something about crossing the finish line. We all know your time Paul and it was no where near sub-3.
He should spend more time with his kids. He should spend that time apologizing for destroying their future. The country and his family—especially his kids—should be ashamed of him. He is an embarrassment.
Can't believe we're still saying this a year and a half later, but here goes..... just sticking to succinct, factual statements here.....
Zero evidence of collusion.
Zero election "hacking" (as many on the Left initially believed).
Zero impact on election.
Zero evidence of obstruction.
Apparent evidence of Porn Star sexx in 2005.
Looking into hush money source (and only because Stormy is getting BIG $$$ from someone to bring it forward).
Meanwhile.....
ISIS is decimated (as Trump said they'd be)
Border crossings and arrests WAY down (as he said they'd be).
Wall prototypes being reviewed.
Economy humming along nicely.
Minority unemployment extremely low.
POTUS45 called out Republicans for being puppets of the NRA on live television.
North Korean leader has stated he is willing to discuss denuclearization.
China is altering their tariff policies to become more "open" (Trump wins again).
Oh, and Liberals are still crying like babies all day, every day.
So, all things considered, every day is pretty darn joyful.
Zero evidence that Trumpers live in the real world.
When reality catches up with you it's going to hit like a Mack truck.
So are ANY house Republicans going to run for reelection?
Dennis Ross just announced he's stepping down as well.
.....says the guy that GOT HIT LIKE A MACK TRUCK on November 8, 2016. LOL!
Note that nothing I said in my prior post was debated. Typical.
