The Bill Clinton investigation started with Watergate and ended with nothing burgers, except for Monica's white stained, blue dress. Republicans cheered as Monica blue dress came to light.
Trump is running--strike that, golf carting--very scarred for a "not guilty" person. That is more than enough to tell you he is very guilty of numerous crimes: money laundering, election fraud, tax evasion, theft of money from the US treasury . . . and on it will go.
Watergate???
He absolutely can't just directly fire Mueller. Only the AG can, or the DAG if the AG is recused as Sessions is. And even then only for cause. Trump would have to fire Sessions and appoint someone to replace him, who would then have to invent a pretext for firing Mueller. Presumably that person would be appointed using the vacancies act because Trump wouldn't be able to get a lackey through senate confirmation after the firing. The only person he could reasonably pick for that vacancy is Scott Pruitt. Who is the only person in the cabinet who is also a lawyer and who is thus eligible for a vacancy appointment to AG without senate confirmation. Pruitt would then have to fire Mueller on some pretext.
It seems improbable that that level of shenanigans would hold up in court. Mueller would have a dozen angles to attack the firing and would have bullet proof obstruction cases against Trump and Pruitt. I don't think even Pruitt is stupid and venal enough to agree to that deal.
Which begs the question - In this situation, what would a real man do?
A real man would want the truth no matter if that man's own part suffered some pain.
Oh, and just in case people forgot...
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

Watergate???
For those reasons, and based on Trump's behavior, he really is guilty of much. He has no choice but to have Mueller fired. And make no mistake he can strong arm or fire people people to have it done. Yes it would be very ugly to do this but better for Trump than being completely exposed by Mueller.
Some Republican leaders who are currently holier-than-thou on talk shows saying that Mueller needs to finish his work are all talk. They have done nothing to ensure this will happen.
Does anyone really think in the end the Republican congress will do the right and ethical thing? Its all going to come down to the electorate and how easy people a little more reasonable than itsbadude can reason and understand what is at stake. If they can continue to be manipulated, sadly Trump will be safe. If this group wakes up, justice might prevail.
Its happened to good democracies in the past, we will not be the first to devolve.
We are in crisis mode.
I understand how some of what I said upset people and can be misinterpreted. What I meant to say was:
Dear Sub-Human Filth, I'm appealing to all of you stupid idiots to vote Democrat in 2018. That is if you have the basic education enough to read a ballot, anyway. I understand the majority of you racist rednecks can't even read this post, though. But those who can, please pass my message on to the rest of your inbred family. We Democrats are morally, culturally and intellectually superior to you in every way. I will qualify myself by noting that I have a Liberal Arts degree from a college, which you obviously have never been to, if you even know what one is. I also have a black friend. I have been told by several professors that everything you hold dear is terrible. Therefore you, personally, are also terrible. I don't know you, but I know that you're racist. I also know that you hate gay people and still get scared during lightning storms. The religion which you hold closely, greatly believe in, and which brings you comfort--you are wrong because I'm smarter than you and I'm telling you so. It is one of the many reasons why you are stupid and I'm better than you. You see, us Democrats want a system which helps everyone in the world. Our system is designed around love and kindness to everyone. If you don't agree, I hate you. It's not too late to change. If you knew your history, which of course you don't, you'll remember a time in America when Indians were dragged away from their homes and forced to assimilate into white society. Well, we want to change that kind of behaviour (sorry for my spelling, as I'm not from your country) by making sure you go to college and have a small apartment in a big, busy coastal city, where you belong. That will help you rid yourselves of your backward, incorrect culture and way of thinking. We'll do everything we can to make sure you agree with us and say all the right things and not be brainwashed against thinking the same way we do. All of you stupid, backward, redneck, racist, homophobic, uneducated yokels need to realize we're trying to build a classless society where we all get to live in harmony with each other, where we're all equal. If you only understood that you wouldn't be so much worse of a person than I am. So please vote Democrat. Help me help you, you worthless motherf$&@)#%.
The libs that lied to the FBI and Congress. The libs that lie in the "name of national security." The libs that leak to newspapers. The libs that have been caught braking the law: McCabe, Comey, Hillary, Clapper, Brennan, and others. Hopefully, they'll catch many more. Maybe McCabe will bring everyone down. You would be a bit more believable if you post quotes from all sources instead of snippets of quotes. Trey Gowdy said: “We think this is a very serious matter regarding conduct by the FBI and by some in the Department of Justice that that calls for the appointment of a special counsel who will have subpoena and prosecutorial powers" There is no obstruction of justice. This is a made up term. Muller has nothing. Muller is not coming. Everything you post is nonsense.
How about some facts here. The president can fire anybody he has the power to appoint, for any reason. Rank and file governed workers have some protection and can only be fired for cause. He can fire anyone in the military from the top most general to the toilet cleaner. He is the head of the executive branch. He can not fire anyone from the Legislative or Judicial Branch (supreme and other federal courts). DOJ and FBI is part of the Executive branch. Muller is not rank and file and has no protections. The executive branch can not exert power over the Judicial or Legislative branch. Similarly, the Legislative branch can not pass a law that interferes with executive powers. Ie, they can not pass a law preventing the president from firing anyone. Well, they can, but it will be shutdown by the Supreme Court. I'm 100% sure that in a country of 350 million people there is someone to fill the job. I'm also 100% sure that there are enough power hungry democrats that will take a job from Trump if asked. Everything you posted here is not factual. It is your deranged opinion. You don't notice anything. You post nonsense.

I assume that was supposed to be 'Whitewatergate'

It's pretty obvious at this point that Trump does not even have the political clout and support in the Senate he would need to have Mueller fired and come out unscathed. I think even Trump is smart enough to understand that it would be suicide, at least right now. If anyone can provide a single realistic scenario where Trump has Mueller fired and it doesn't immediately spell his doom, I'm all ears
It won't be immediate doom when Trump has Sessions fire Rosenstein and then replaces him with someone who will fire Mueller.
It will accelerate a process that will spell his doom, though.
But it would buy Trump some time.
If Trump guilty of any serious crimes that Mueller has evidence of, then Trump should fire Mueller, to slow that process down.
And that is the only reason that Trump should fire Mueller.
If Trump is an innocent man, then he should let Mueller continue the investigation so we can learn how to prevent the Russian interference that has been proven to happen.
Did you just list Comey as a liberal? You’re loony.
A quick dose of reality for the sheep. You guys are setting yourselves up for the biggest Flagpole since THE Flagpole that started it all, the Great Flagpole of 2016.
Cracks in the colllluuuusssion narrative are getting bigger and bigger. Dems are desperate to keep it going for as long as possible.

I do love how the media forgets that in the very recent past, both Clapper and Brennan were caught lying under oath to Congress, trying to hide illegal actions being taken by the Intelligence Agencies under the Obama administration. Now they're portayed as noble leaders by the likes of CNN. Such hypocrites.https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2014/07/31/obama-should-fire-john-brennan/?utm_term=.bf0758b14b84https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2018/01/19/james-clappers-perjury-dc-made-men-dont-get-charged-lying-congress-jonathan-turley-column/1045991001/

Here is the one simple question that would inject some reality into your system if you had the integrity to handle the truth:
Why is Trump so desperate to end Mueller's investigation? Why not cooperate fully and get on with "governing"?
///
OK, that was two questions. But you get full credit for understanding the implications of either one.
You know, Trump and his supporters are the only ones who keep throwing around the word "collusion".
The rest of us want to see where the investigation leads.
We are concerned that it seems like Trump instructed Flynn to discuss sanctions relief with Russia before Trump was sworn in.
We are concerned that Trump allowed deadlines to pass for a long time before allowing imposed sanctions to take place.
We are concerned that Trump fired Comey for pursuing any investigation into Russian interference.
We are concerned that Trump worked closely with Manafort and Gates on the campaign who have been indicted for improper relations with the Russians.
We would like to follow the money and see if the Trump organization has been involved in any major foreign money laundering operation.
Trump could be involved in money laundering, tax fraud and obstruction of justice.
It ain't all about collusion or conspiring with a foreign entity, though that may be the case as well.
Again, you're misinformed.
The President cannot fire a Special Prosecutor, in a case such as this. Only the Attorney General can fire a Special Prosecutor, and that's if there's just cause. In this case, the Attorney General has recused himself from all matters relating to the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election, so the only person with the authority to fire Mueller is the Deputy Attorney General.
You seem to not remember the Saturday Night Massacre when Nixon ordered Attorney General Elliott Richardson to fire Archibald Cox, the Special Prosecutor investigating the Watergate break in. Richardson refused to fire Cox and resigned. Nixon then ordered Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus to fire Cox. He refused and also resigned. Then it came to Solicitor General Robert Bork who, in the absence of the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General, was acting head of the Department of Justice and Bork complied with Nixon and fired Cox.
No one can respond to this series of facts because this thread isn't about analyzing the facts. It's about hope and constant speculation. All in the name of bringing our President down for defeating the establishment.
In addition to your strong list, there was the MSM working in lock-step with the Hillary campaign to ensure her historic victory would occur.
These were the narratives before the election:
"He can't win without Hispanics" (often shown with polls hovering around 15% of Hispanics)
"He can't win without blacks" (shown with polls as low as 1% of blacks)
"He can't win without women" (the icing was the October surprise)
"He can't get the suburban vote because she is strong there" (educated women in particular are going to hurt him)
"He can only get the white, rural, uneducated, poor vote." (his "base")
Here's what happened ("facts"/data):
He won 30% of the Hispanic vote.
He won 8% of the black vote (13% of black men, highest in a long, long time)
He won white women.
He won the suburbs.
He won whites with a college degree.
When you look at the non-stop BS narratives the MSM pushed before the election, and then the facts in your list above (which is not all-encompassing, by the way- plenty more should be added), you have to wonder what these guys really striving for? It's clearly a corrupt industry that does not have the best interest of the public in mind.
