How 'bout half a TRILLION dollars in trade each year--meaning many thousands of American jobs?
See, economies are *not* a zero-sum game. ("He got more! That must mean I got less!") Economies can grow and shrink. Trade tends to keep them growing; trading with the whole world, rather than just within one country, means they tend to grow faster and farther.

Well, you're almost right--his approval is nearly at 40%:
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/But isn't it sad that you're still obsessing about H. Clinton? She lost, get over it! It's almost as though you haven't had anything *else* to celebrate in the fifteen months since...

Most of us are gentiles so Hebrew law never applied to us in the first place. The debate would have been whether Jewish people had to keep following the Torah or not.
Well, you're right: Jesus only ever preached to the Jews. So I guess they're the only ones who can follow him, and the only ones who can be saved by doing so.
I had always thought that anyone who called him- or herself a Christian, would want to at least *try* to do what Jesus had said. But I guess Christianity is only available to (former) Jews.
Thanks for clearing that up.

1) Old news and from a biased poll. Latest polling today shows him at LOWEST point of 35%.
2) Odd to be so sure of yourself. Mueller is reeling in the bad guys, and Trump's day is coming.
3) By using Obama's middle name like that, know that you are racist.
Mueller is coming.
The clown is done.

Go back one page. One of your fellow libs, who goes by "foo", rejected the existence of God and said that evolution/Darwinism was an absolute fact. You did not argue against those statements.
I have no problem with evolution.
I could certainly point to good proofs for the existence of God. Augustine's ontological proof is my favorite.

Yes, Anselm. Forgive me.

You believe in God. We get it. Just say "I believe...what I believe." 'Nuff said, and indisputable!
It's when you try to present that belief as the product of, or as bolstered by, logic--rather than as a plain matter of faith--that problems arise. Anselm's argument has been debunked many times. This is one of the clearer discussions I've seen:
http://skeptico.blogs.com/skeptico/2009/08/ontological-argument-for-god-rebuttal.htmlBut what does any of this have to do with the Donald Trump presidency? Let's keep our eyes on the ball here!
Actually, the refutation of the rebuttal of the debunking of the Ontological Argument has been disproven many times. Try to keep up bruh!

The ontological proof is very convincing. But like any proof, you can accept it or not.
kyts is right about one thing, though. The argument doesn't really address faith. It only proves that God exists. Once you believe that God exists, the question is what do you do about that belief?
If your answer is to follow, that takes a leap of faith. ( Kierkegaard, right? :-) )
If you want to relate it to Trump, he seems to be a man who believes there is a God but never decided to follow Him. That's why I call him godless.

Bertrand Russell: "Great God in Boots!—the ontological argument is sound!"

Among the least supportive groups for Trump in the CNN survey, the president’s approval stands at just five percent among Democrats, 22 percent among Americans ages 35 and younger, 23 percent among non-whites and 29 percent among women. Only 35 percent of independents approve of Trump’s performance in the White House.
Among Republicans, 80 percent approve of Trump’s performance, though that’s down a point from Trump’s lowest rating among self-described party members last September. Among people over 50, 43 percent approve of the job Trump is doing, and 42 percent of all men give him a favorable rating.
Trump’s approval rating is well behind former presidents at this point in their presidency: 12 percent behind the previous low set by Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, and 14 percent behind Barack Obama.

I never rejected the existence of God. Yes, I do believe evolution/Darwinism is true. I’m personally agnostic. My opinion is if you can reconcile evolution, science and God, more power to you. Fat Hurts seems to have done it. Good for him.
Honestly, I believe this is the direction Republicans should head instead of constantly and foolishly disavowing science.

He's still got his base, and that's not going away. It's been a long time since the racists had any oxygen. Ronald Reagan was the last racist in office.
Indicators suggest Trump is losing the swing voter. Which was obvious from day 1, because this guy hates "poor people."
But, that doesn't mean November is going to play well for the Democrats.

I never saw anything that needed to be reconciled.
Evolution denial has been a cottage industry for decades. Hucksters would travel from church to church preying on the poorly educated. They would be given time on Sunday morning or Wednesday night to tell the congregation that scientists are out there trying to disprove the Bible. These folks never liked the smart kids in school, so it was an easy sell.
Eventually, evolution denial morphed into distrust of science in general. So when the Koch brothers wanted to undermine client science, that was pretty easy too.
Now, you have to believe in a global scientific conspiracy to be a Republican.
